Ratings for Dr. Jane Wu
2.5
Waited 40 minutes to see the doctor, who was clearly having a rough day. Lacked common politeness. I immediately recognized I was going to be challenged. Dr Wu constantly interrupted while I was trying to ask questions. I advised her that further tests had been completed since my initial visit, and her diagnosis of ‘being perfectly fine’ conflicted with that of my family doctor who recently diagnosed me with a thyroid issue. Instead of acknowledging the update, the doctor became even more difficult. I got frustrated and left. Dr Woo stormed out of the area when I told her this appointment was a huge waste of time. She has no composure. I’m so tired of egotistical doctors that do not listen or care to help.
I don't know what the negative reviews' are all about. I found her very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable.
Id give negative stars if I could. She is rude and gave zero advice it's honestly unbelievable that she's a dr and works with the hospital. One of the worst Dr's ive ever encountered!!!
I am very disappointed with my experience with Dr. Wu. During the appointment, she was dismissive and did not fully listen to my concerns. I felt that I was being interrupted and that my explanation of my symptoms was not taken seriously. As a patient, I believe being heard is an essential part of medical care. I also felt that there was little consideration for my feelings, which made the visit uncomfortable and stressful. If my primary care physician had not required me to see her, I would not have chosen to schedule this appointment. Professionalism and empathy are important in healthcare, and unfortunately, I did not experience that during this visit.
Dr. Wu was the rudest and most dismissive doctor I have encountered. Also left me waiting 45 minutes without apology and couldn't even be bothered to come out to greet me - just heard my name being yelled out from some unknown corner office. DO NOT go to this doctor unless you enjoy being treated like an animal.
I had cheat pain, palpitations,hbp210.Went to peace.arch.in July, early swpt 2024.Dr Jane Wu heard my symptoms, prescribed 9 medications for her without any diagnosis of my heart, without a MIBI test scheduled for 24 Sept2024.Asked her what the meds were for.She don't fully explain it and said to go to the pharmacist and they with explain it.Then she said, if I didn't take the medications, she will be not able to treat me.I failed the 1st tread mill test early July 2024.On 24 Sep 2024, I found on the day of MIBI test, that I was going to be given PERSANTINE to increase my heart rate:Side EFFECTS are lots.Persantine meds are for old people who may be bed ridden, very sick, can't walk. Pesantine will stress the heart llevel. Therefore, I did not do that test..Yet it showed for me on BC health, a MIB⁶I test was done for me .I just found out on 7 Jan 2025-WRONG
True evil transphobic. This women needs to lose her license.
With my elderly relative, Dr. Wu demonstrated the opposite of patient-centered care: she did not listen and took a top-down, imperious approach. Was not interested in my relative's medical history and their experience of managing a chronic condition. Abruptly ordered major changes to ongoing treatment without allowing questions or listening to concerns. (The patient's pharmacist advised against one of the changes.) Spoke as if the patient was not even in the room. My relative was the first patient of the day and arrived on time but had to wait more than half an hour, without apology or explanation. My relative is a tough person who is fine with doctors being impersonal and cold, but feels Dr. Wu is dismissive, unprofessional and untrustworthy and does not want to see her again.
Worst Doctor I have ever encountered. When we visited her office, it was clear that she hadn't read our son's file. Just wanted to put him on blood thinners. Absolutely no bed side manner. Believe she should just stick with producing art.
Dr Wu was thorough and efficient, grasping my history quickly. I accept responsibility for my condition; therefore, any talk of why it happened was immaterial. My only concern is getting good care; I believe I'm in good hands.
