I do not recommend Dr. Igwe. She essentially killed my mother. She performed ovarian cancer surgery on my mother and put a hole in her bladder. Two days after the surgery my mother had a lump in her abdomen and had to have it drained and another surgery was done by another surgeon to suture the hole that Igwe created. My mother passed away from cepsis due to a urine infection!!! Also my mother suffered a stroke during Igwe's surgery and developed dimentia and was never the same! She had a blood clot in her lung after this surgery and had to take a needle EVERY DAY FOR 2 YEARS after Igwe's surgery. Be warned. You are drastically taking your life into your hands when receiving surgery by dr Igwe!!!

Dr Igwe and the nurse made me feel very comfortable, not rushed and helpful with any questions I had.

I am thankful for Dr. Igwe, she was knowledgeable and compassionate, handled my situation with utmost care. Extremely supportive staff that patiently answered all my questions so I could feel fully at ease.

After having a terrible experience with another gyno oncologist who was arrogant, rude and unprofessional, and being told that my only option was a surgery that I did not want, I was so relieved to meet Dr. Igwe. She is very professional, compassionate and knowledgeable, listened to my concerns, and treated me like a human being rather than a specimen. Rather than jumping straight into lopping off parts of my body as the other doc wanted to do, Dr. Igwe investigated my condition further and took a couple more biopsies, which she made sure were examined by a gynocologic pathologist. Based upon the results Dr. Igwe decided that I can have a laser surgery rather than the more invasive, more anatomy damaging surgery that the first doctor had insisted upon. I have to travel 3 hours for appointments or treatment, which is twice as far as the original doctor, but so worth it just to be treated with respect and by a far superior doctor!

Dr. Igwe is a very compassionate. Makes a diagnosis easy to understand. She takes the time to talk to me and explains everything very well. I feel confident in having her as my doctor. She is very professional. I highly recommend her.

Dr Igwe is kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. She performed my Hysterectomy (cancer) and was with me beforehand in the surgical suite to put my mind at ease. She is an extremely skilled surgeon as well. I can't say enogh good things about this doctor!

Dr igwe is the best of the best! Very knowledgeable, caring, compassionate and oh so beautiful!! Because of her my dream came through I almost gave up on getting pregnant but she didn’t let me because if her I have my beautiful baby girl!! I highly recommend her!!

Dr. Igwe has absolutely terrible bedside manner. I was very upset and afraid and she made me feel 1000x worse. I had questions and she just could not be bothered to let me ask anything - she just Wanted to get right into the exam. She cannot deal with people who are nervous or upset. She wouldn’t tell me what she was doing or give me a minute to relax. I told her I could not proceed and she became quite upset. As I was leaving the room, after refusing to let her near me, she continued to give Me attitude and was saying “if you don’t like me, you can just see someone else.” This was loud enough that someone in the hall asked me if that was the doctor talking to me like that. I was sobbing and really upset about the whole experience. It was truly appalling and I would never ever recommend her to anyone.
