I wasn’t impressed. He seemed very distracted.....

Definitely needs to freshen up on his bedside manners. Perhaps a class or two on listening may be in order? I found that he Interrupted me quite often. My husband is also a patient of Dr. Smiths and my husband enjoys him. Maybe our paths crossed on a bad day.

Awesome Doctor - great bedside manner. Staff are the best of any medical office I have been to.

The Staffs are perfect, they are very very nice and friendly.

Just gonna say be careful of this doctor. He wouldn’t send me for tests even though I asked and because of that he missed something and got my diagnosis wrong. Luckily I got a second opinion and that doctor was able to find the problem. I’m now waiting for surgery. If you need tests and doctors aren’t listening to you don’t be afraid to ask for a second opinion.

All the negative reviews are accurate. I think the reason people are able to get in to see him in a reasonable time in Nova Scotia is because he is so bad that many of his patients don't return. He is arrogant and does not value your time or problem. He mis-diagnosed me and put me on pills I should not have been on and didn't need and ignored me when I told him there was no change. My daughter had a painful surgery and it did not solve the problem, only got worse. When we returned to tell him, he got defensive and said that he had never had anyone say that before. (And rolled his eyes) . The secretary is nice if you can get her to answer the phone and the assistant should be working for someone else because she is FANTASTIC!

What a disgusting quack of a doctor. Just walked out of his office. He rolled his eyes at everything I had to say. Waited so long to be dismissed. I’m so frustrated. Just want someone to help me with this stupid sore throat.

Dr. Smith performed a septoplasty surgery on me recently. He is efficient and competent, the two traits i value most in a Dr.! I would not hesitate to see him again. He wasn't overly personable but really who cares? He answered all my questions, and I never felt that he wasn't engaged or arrogant, even though my two office visits may have totaled 20 mins. He is busy and I don't want to spend any more time in a Dr office then necessary so again I really valued his efficiency and competence. He gave me the required care i needed in an efficient manner and i was on my way, what more could you ask for.? ! Good DR. , highly recommended.

Bad expierence with my child. Will not be going back. Off to the iwk we go. Hopefully with more competent less creepy doctors. It really does seem like he’s writing his own reviews. Wish I would have read them before I allowed my family doctor to refer us.

He seemed very distracted during my appointment. Seemed like a doctor who listened but didn’t really hear me. Was very dismissive of my concerns. Unfortunately finding a doctor in Nova Scotia is hard so I’ll have to see him again. I don’t want him to treat me even worse because of this review so I’m going to try to remain as anonymous as possible. If you haven’t seen this doctor yet I’d recommend finding a different one. It’s a wonder that this doctor hasn’t been charged with negligence yet. That’s Canada eh
