she is the top gun, over the last 20 years she has helped me more than i can say.Brilliant doesnt cover this amazing doctor

In 2019 I was sent a referral to this Dr, 15 months later I have a phone consult with her. She tells me the only thing to help my intense headpain is Botox at a cost of $2250 every 3 months. I ask what she does for the patients that are terrified of needles, she responded with the have to get over it. I sat with this information for roughly 6 months, when I called to make an appointment for the injections and to get help with covering such an expense, I was shuffled off to another company whom had approved me within days. Made my appointment with the Dr.Giommarco's office to have the injections - the day before my appointment her receptionist phones and cancels the appointment and then reschedules for 2 weeks down the road, again to call 2 days before the appointment to cancel. I'm now going on 8 months of leaving msgs on this offices phone for someone to call me back with what is going on, and no one ever calls back.

Dr. Giammarco will change your life. Her migraine expertise is second to none. Her office staff is so nice. I’m so thankful to have found her.

I never leave reviews for doctors but I had to for Dr. Giammarco. I have had 3 appointments in total - 2 over the phone and 1 in person. Dr. R. Giammarco seems so uninterested in her work. During my in person visit (i was the last appointment for the day) she was 1 hour late and was so rushed. She was even putting on her coat to leave. I feel like she dismisses my pain. She initially thought my pain was a nerve pain and issued a MRI and nerve block injections. Dr. Mathoo who injected the never blocks was AMAZING but sadly I had to wait THREE months to follow- up with Dr. R. Giammarco. Prior to my appointment I went to my GP about my pain and she pulled up my record with Dr Giammarco who listed things to try that she’s never told me during my in-person visit. And my GP said that she wasn’t surprised that this happened since she had seen this happen with other patients who were referred to Dr. Giammarco. I really wish I didn’t book a follow-up because it was a 2 minute phone call/waste of time. She made me do a pain diary and didn’t even go over it. Bottom line if you suffer from severe pain or don’t want constant injections or Botox - or just want a diagnosis (especially if you don’t think you are dealing with migraines) go somewhere else because she is very uninterested in her work & patients.

Absolute waste of my time. I spoke to her lovely nurse because the doctor didn’t bother to show up for the appointment I had been waiting fever months to talk to…ghosted. No report. No help a waste of my time.

I have seen Dr Giamarco for 25 years, excellent and realistic care,. Migraines can be difficult and her advice has been right on.

Twice, I’ve been referred to Dr. Gianmarco and been given specific appointment dates and times for phone appointments. Both times, I was told she would call at the appointment time, or after, if her appointments were running late. Very understandable. On the date of the first appointment however, she called me 2.5 hours before the appointed time. I was at work and unable to attend the the phone appointment. I called her office and was assured it wasn’t the the norm for her to call so early, but was told I would require a new referral. After a many month wait, I finally had another appointment time. Again I was assured she would call at, or after the appointment time. Guess what? She called an hour and a half early this time. Again I was at work, and unable to attend the phone appointment. Why not just say be prepared anytime between sun up and sundown for a phone appointment on a specific date, rather than be given a specific time, only to be called too early and caught off guard. It’s been over a year now since my first referral and I had to wait approx six months for each phone interview. I feel very annoyed to have lost precious time when I could have been referred to a reliable specialist. This time I’ll ask my GP for a referral to a different specialist. I have no more trust in Dr. Gianmarco to stick to appointment times.

This doctor is very unprofessional. I had an appointment that was scheduled/made In late 2020 for May 2021 so well over 6 months i waited for this appointment, This women had the audacity to not only cancel my appointment 2 hours before it was supposed to be...she also gave me the wrong office so when i went to my appointment ANYWAYS she wasnt even there and hadnt been for 2 WHOLE MONTHS and failed to make me aware. She also told me i never confirmed my appointment over a message while cancelling my appointment which was also failed to be mentioned to be that i even had to do so, which wasn’t intended considering i had had this set for months. so now i am 6 months behind schedule with my health. Super inconvenient, super unprofessional. Big time waster. Not happy at all.

I always feel dismissed when I see Dr. Giammarco. I get in after a long wait and they never rebook. She really no she’s Botox even if it’s not what you want. It’s the only solution for migraines in her books. I always feel totally discouraged leaving there.

I have seen many doctors over the years to help with my migraines. nothing helped. When I was referred to Dr Giammarco I had almost given up. She was so nice and she made me feel so comfortable. She tried Botox first and it wasn't helping, so she prescribed a monthly injection. My life has changed. I don't wake up every day with a headache and I can't remember the time i had a migraine. As for the receptionist. She is amazing, she does everything in that office. She can only have vacation if the doctor takes one because there is no one to cover. She is always polite with me and answers all my questions. If you see her stressed and tired you might want to remember that you should treat people the way you want to be treated and it might be a better encounter. I have nothing by gratefulness for this entire office.
