Dr Giammmarco has been the first doctor in a long time that I felt actually understood my situation and has compassion for me. It was a long wait to see her but once you do, they move things along very quickly and want to help you quickly. She’s incredibly knowledgeable!

I have been seeing Dr. Giammarco for a number of years. She is excellent. Your first visit, when she meets you she can be a little bit too professional, which I understand- but going forward she has been kind and absolutely caring. She called my home once after another doctor put a flag on a medication she prescribed, to check up on me! She listened when I told her I didn’t want to be placed on a certain drug, when I gave an explanation. She is incredibly busy, so if there are minor mistakes or she or her receptionist may seem flustered, I would be too, considering migraine (especially for women) is vastly underfunded, and often not taken seriously. Last word - she is a treasure of years of medical information and experience, and I recommend everyone I know with migraines to her. I would send my children, so I can’t give a better review than that.

Saw this one August 7 waited about a year to see her then tells me she can’t help me with my headaches told me the Botox was 900 dollars which I was willing to pay but she said my condition is too complex and to find a pain clinic and also tells me she is retiring, if this is so why did I pay to see her and pay 30 dollars for parking and why wouldn’t she refer me to a pain clinic or another neurologist if one of her reasons not to continue was that she was retiring. August 7 went to appointment the receptionist tells me they cancelled my appointment because I didn’t call to confirm the appointment I requested the number they called and it was wrong she said she will see if she can squeeze me in which luckily I got to see her, then I call for the report reception says will mail it to me that they don’t email reports well that never came either which claiming was sent so finally I get it through email but now I have a private report in someone else’s hands. Not impressed with her basic neurology test either as she did not do all the tests yet reporting her test found no nerve damage what a total waste of anticipated time for pain relief.

Have not been very impressed with Dr Giammarco or her receptionist. She was late for my appointment, and the receptionist recorded my contact information with typos and they couldn't contact me regarding future appointments. The receptionist also gave me someone else's prescription on my way out, and I had to run back for my actual prescription. Dr Giammarco heavily pushed for botox the entire appointment, which I cannot afford, and seemed a little miffed about that. She *is* knowledgeable, but the push for botox and mix-ups with my documentation leave me questioning the quality of care.

They do not answer the phone. ever. They also do not reply to the messages that you leave. I've been calling for 3 weeks trying to get an email or fax number to send insurance forms to get my medication reapproved but because they don't respond I have to go another month paying out of pocket for an unaffordable medication. I've had my appointment time double booked by this office multiple times. I've had appointments cancelled without them telling me and got told off when I showed up and the doctor was not there. I've been seeing Dr. Giammarco for over 4 years and she does not know my name nor does any sort of prep before my appointments to get familiar with my health history. Avoid this office at all costs.

Dr. Giammarco truly understands her patients. I'm so grateful to have been referred to her. The severity and length of my migraines has decreased so much after Botox treatments, and I had tried everything else before. Dr. Giammarco is an expert that I would recommend 100% to anyone suffering from migraine.

My experience with Dr. Giammarco was life changing. She is uniquely qualified and skilled and knowledgeable about migraine treatment. I was having 20 to 25 migraines a month and had been prescribed various meds, none of which changed the frequency of those debilitating migraines and eventually became less and less effective. With Dr. Giammarco's help I now have only 1 or 2 low grade migraines every few months. Wow. If you are so fortunate to see Dr. Giammarco, expect a serious approach and a physician who expects you to work with her, that is, come prepared with your history to communicate to her. A totally reasonable expectation. And she will support you.

Super smart lady. Knows her stuff and is kind and caring. The receptionist was efficient too. I see other posts indicating that the secretary was not polite but she was very polite and efficient with me. I can only wonder if you get back what you put out there.

Receptionist is not friendly and in fact rude. Lack of privacy and client confidentiality. Office doors were never closed during my time there. I was sitting in the waiting room and could hear the doctor verbally dictate her whole visit from her previous client. I was told that 3 migraine attacks a month are normal and for me to increase my supplement intake and take prescription medication at the time of attack. I would have appreciated more information or consultation on reasons of attacks, preventions, tips and strategies to avoid or reduce migraines. My list could go on…
