Very thorough and extensive consultation. Explains things in detail. You can sense his passion for his patients when he talks you through. I never felt rushed, asked him many questions and he answered all patiently. I left his office knowing I made the right decision. Get the surgery done by Him!!

Doctor Rao was very informative at the first consultation. He spent a lot of time going through all the details of the surgery to ensure this was the appropriate operation for me. What an experience. I saw him 3 weeks back. Felt most comfortable and reassured by him and his professional advice. I had a RNY gastric bypass done by him recently. I was so nervous and scared as my friend had the same operation in Joondalup hospital and was very sick in ICU. I spoke to a few of his patients who put me at ease and I had the operation done 4 weeks back. I was in hospital for 2 days only, Walking with ease the first day and discharged the second. im very happy I went too him for a gastric bypass RNY. I was in hospital for 2 nights and all went great. He's very friendly and great to talk with. I would highly recommend seeing him and his team. So far I'm almost 4 weeks post op and lost 11kgs 21kgs since I started my weight loss journey. I no longer need my high blood pressure meds and my insulin shots have almost dropped by half and still going down.
