Dr calapai is extremely compassionate and well spoken. His alternative methods have helped myself and my wife with athletic injuries and chronic fatigue. Prolotherapy and prp therapy was a game changer that helped cure my chronic tendinitis from sports as well as the vitamin iv drops helped my wife's chronic fatigue. Definitely recommend, he gives you options that other doctors do not.

My experience: I felt Dr. Calapai really didn't care about me. He rushed and didn't spend a lot of time with me. He got annoyed if I asked questions. He pushed his own vitamins that he sells. He pushed his stem treatment REALLY HARD as the Premiere treatment available. It cost $$ 5,000 dollars, yet the cells were taken using my bone marrow. The syringe, and electricity to run the centrifuge for a half hour may have cost a total of $20 dollars. The bottom line is IT DIDN"T WORK AT ALL ! ZERO. NADA !! It helped ZERO Percent.!!! ALL this for the PREMIERE treatment, and I provided the raw materials for the treatment. I DON'T KNOW HOW HE JUSTIFIES THE $ 5,000 cost. Staff who draw blood argue in front of patients, and don't wear a glove on the hand that touches your skin. They wear a glove on the hand that doesn't touch your skin. Staff didn't know the dose of the vitamin C drip, and argued over how to measure it. Totally unprofessional !! Doctor only cares about money ! this was my gut impression ! Staff in the front who make the appointments are, however nice. Doctor only wants your money. False promises of cures !!!

He helped me heal my knee injury which had chronic pain and tendonitis in. prolotherapy is amazing.

He gave me a diet diary to fill out of all I ate over a period of time, and when he got it, he gave it barely a glance! He gave me some cockamamie injection through the bottom of my foot puncturing the plantar fascia (which made every real doctor who heard of it wince). He did me more harm than good. These radio doctors can be impressive talkers and abominable healers. If they were any good, then after all the exposure they get, you wouldn't be able to get an appointment with them, and they wouldn't need radio advertising!

I felt the the Almighty Dollar was Priority One. The sale of Optimal Health Products, LLC ( a Delaware based company with a BBB rating of "F"), was Priority Two. Dr. Calapai's own opinion was Priority Three. At that point there was nothing left for: considering, spending time on, diagnosing, or treating my son's illness.

Dr Calapai is a very thorough, knowledgable doctor who helped me when other doctors couldn't. His alternative practices delivered results to me when I was experiencing fatigue after sustaining a knee injury. His vitamin Iv treatments along with prolo therapy have put me back to where I was. My energy levels are back up and my knee is as good as new. Definitely recommend dr Calapai

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Calapai for the first time in 2005 when my daughter had meniscal tears in her knees. It was a pleasure to meet him, and more importantly, learn about prolotherapy and how it could help my daughter. After just 4 prolotherapy injections, her knees improved tremendously and with a maintenance program, she was able to avoid surgery!! He has since helped both my husband, my father in law, as well as myself, with many of our orthopedic issues with prolotherapy treatments. We've had a great experience in the office. Everyone was so helpful and friendly!!

Wow! I never had a more thorough blood work up in my life. Dr. Calapai was a endless source of information that I was fascinated by! He cured me of an undiagnosed under active thyroid, so between the thyroid correction and his combinations of vitamins and shakes I've never felt better in my life!! Truly amazed and so happy. His staff was super friendly. Overall great dr. And great experience in the office. I have recommended all my friends and family to him!!! 😀

I don't normally leave reviews but I thought this might help someone else in their treatment decisions. My father, a cancer patient, saw Dr. Calapai for "natural cancer treatment". Dr. Calapai's approach is based on a study that finds low dose targeted chemo to be successful by using insulin to allow the cells to receive the low dose chemo. He supposivly bases his treatment on results from blood work that is sent to Greece for testing. The therory of what he offers is fine and may in fact work but Dr. Calapai is so money hungry that he really only cares if he gets payment for as much treatment as possible. Let me explain - to send the blood work to Greece cost my elderly father several thousand dollars. Nothing was done with the results from the testing. Instead, my dad went to Dr. Calapai's office for weekly or twice weekly Multi-vitamin treatments (which they call poly MVA) which he paid for out of pocket. My dad was under the impression that this could help him get stronger but in fact it did nothing and my dad deteriorated and eventually died from cancer. My dad could not afford the "low dose chemo" (he had already paid thousands to Dr. Calapai) and instead of Dr. Calapai saying to him that without the chemo part of the treatment (ie with only the poly MVA) really it's a waste of his time and he should seek treatment elsewhere. Bottom line is I'm keeping an open mind to the treatment of low dose chemo (even though it's alternative treatment) but you can't pretend that expensive vitamin infusions are going to cure cancer while you watch your patient get weaker and weaker every visit (1-2 times per week). My dad was just a source of income to Dr. Calapai. He had no concern for my fathers well being.
