If you want to stay stoned all month long, then Dr Allon is your Dr. He passes out pain meds every month thru a nurse visit (collecting his $30) each visit and then he sees you in 4 months for less than 5 minutes. He isn't listening to you as his cell phone vibrates or rings continuously and he answers them all doing business deals, he is not patient but very sloppy with his Lumbar Punctures and yells at you and threatens to send you to the hospital if you won't lay still, he DOESN'T HAVE hospital priveledges anywhere at any hospital, he is NOT BOARD CERTIFIED in Neurology & Pain Control, and in the 10+ years I saw him I spiraled downward further in pain and developed depression from all the opioids. His 13-year ME Laurel was wonderful and I surely miss her. Dr Allon in no longer a doctor for the people but a doctor for the money. He's busy erecting MRI centers, Urgent Care Clinics and doesn't check to see if your pain is caused by any other underlying disease process going on. It's a rotating door - month to month - with one warning about pain tolerance as he increases doses or moves to more dangerous drugs. I finally asked my new PCP for a new referral and I received one immediately. Dr Allon is a fine business man but as a doctor he is just not "there" any longer. He saw me for 10 years, every 4 months and still had me confused with other patients every single time. REALLY??? It was time to leave.
