Dr. Baruta is the epitome of fragile ego and inflated self-importance masquerading as professionalism. Any attempt to express genuine emotion or concern is met not with empathy, but with defensiveness and condescension. He treats dialogue as insubordination and responds by shutting down entirely, making it clear that patient input is unwelcome. His bedside manner is cold, clinical, and utterly devoid of human connection. If you’re looking for a compassionate, communicative physician, look elsewhere. This is not patient care, it’s a performance, and a poor one at that. Run, don’t walk, away from this so-called “doctor.”

Terrible Dr. should be removed from Alberta medical Doctors!

Terrible service, they don't care about patients. My Family Doctor left and they offered no alternative and did not even notify me. I learned I had no family doctor only when I needed one. They have also treated my wife poorly in the past. Avoid this clinic if you can.

The prescription that I was using was discontinued so instead of prescribing an alternative, Dr. Baruta asked the Pharmacist to prescribe something I have never used before and the Pharmacist was not comfortable with this. Two days of back and forth and still no prescription (which I need right away). I am stunned.

My own doctor was on holidays so I came in to see Dr. Baruta. My symptoms were spiking fever over two-week period and trouble breathing. His service was very terse and to the point and lets be gone. My lungs checked out with a stethoscope couldn't even be done.

Dr Pease is a wonderful Doctor and an example of what family physicians should be, thorough, kind, reasonable and helpful.

Not sure whats going on but I think they are overwhelmed. I ran out of a prescription and have waited a week to speak with my dr. and now I don't know what I'm supposed to do.

They do not take blood. They do not take urine. You only get 10 minutes. You have to wait for ever to get an appointment. They fail to see whole person. They have their own agenda that is not always benificial to patient. I could go on but is that the type of doctor you want . I hope not. I am fairly old now and have seen many doctors in my life. By FAR this is the worst walk in I have ever been to. Please sincerely think twice about going to this Practice. I have had to find another doctor that is more understanding. You will too !

Two weeks to see your personal doctor just to refill prescriptions. Not for me, will have discussion with him in two weeks to tell him they need sensitivity training and that I will be looking for another doctor. Sorry to say , but they seem more interested in getting clients than retaining them.

I agree with the previous review. I was adopted into an extremely abusive gaudianship, beaten black and blue as a kid. Told to tell anyone who asked about the bruises to tell them they were hickies! As she laughed. I did not know what a hickie was ! Needless to say my childhood was , is filled with negative memories that I just want to shut down. They prescribed zopiclone which has been working for me for a few years now. Today they just said no more. The added anxiety of going back to a life without sleep is something I do not want to deal with. The failing of this office to see the whole patient is to me sad and a growing trend in the medical field. These guys just follow the rules so they don’t lose their liscence. Find somewhere else.
