Dr Pease left so many patients without a doctor when he left the country and he didn’t provide a locum or other doctor to replace him he completely defaulted all of his patients and his medical practice at Dalbrent Medical Center in Calgary AB complete nonsense!

I was very relieved to have seen Dr Pease. He was patient and reassuring with regards to my prenatal concerns at 17 weeks. He was thorough in dealing with my lab issues and got me on the right medication and ensured follow up. He also got me an ultrasound day of to make sure everything was okay with baby. He called immediately to deliver the results. Exceptional experience with this doctor.

January 2022, I asked him to check my clotting numbers. He informed me since I was unvaccinated and didn’t care about my health, that he shouldn’t either. 3 weeks later, I delivered my dead baby in the hospital at 17 weeks… lost her to blood clots in the placenta. After 2 previous losses. Turns out I had a clotting disorder.

Just an update . I went to him two years ago and asked him about my left leg, if we could look at it …, he said “ No” what do you mean No ? I asked. He said no he wouldn’t look at it . I stood up and told him he was the worst doctor I have had in my 60 years and vowed never to see a doctor again. Well my leg got so bad I had to have immediate surgery on a plugged femoral artery. So ya so glad he is gone

Dr. Pease left all his patients high and dry. He was a good doctor and I trusted him when I visited him. But he left my family and me without a family doctor, and he and his clinic offered no notice or alternatives when he did this. Unprofessional and uncaring.

I was a patient of Doctor Pease for years. I always found him to be attentive, compassionate and willing to listen. He helped me to manage several emerging health conditions and always asked if I was comfortable with the solutions. Dr. Pease is one of the few doctors I had in fifty years who actually LISTENED. I was very sorry to hear that he had left. He will be missed.

Matthew Pease is an excellent doctor. After some past experiences with rude doctors, it was a huge relief to get one that is not only kind but actually cares about you as a patient. I always felt comfortable talking to him about any issues I was having and he always did his best to find solutions to them.

When I first started to see Dr. Pease he seemed as though he genuinely cared about me as a patient. Now I think perhaps this was simply because he was newly graduated. The care and knowledge I received steadily decreased over time. With my latest medical problem, after failing to find something on a single set of xrays Dr. Pease declared their was nothing else he could do. He also told me that my problem air would show up black on xrays because it was the densest (a statement that made me question everything he said going forward). At the end of his tenure he has seemed inattentive and lacking interest in patient problems. He announced he would be leaving via email, rather than any personal form of communication. Dalbrent seems to have very high turnover. No attempt was made by Dalbrent Medical to find an alternative or new physician for patients. All in all its been disappointing.
