According to Google’s health-related query data of 2019, Americans were obsessed with blood pressure, the keto diet, and hiccups.
They were among the top 10 most-searched health-focused questions on Google last year, based on search terms collected between January to early December of 2019. The full list of the most-searched health questions in the United States this year also included questions about the flu, kidney stones, and human papillomavirus or HPV.

These health search trends have radically varied year-to-year – in 2018, people wanted to know what amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS, is, what is endometriosis, and how long does weed stay in your urine; in 2017, they asked what is lupus, and how long does the flu last.
So without further ado, here are the top 10 health-related questions people Googled in 2019:

- What causes kidney stones?
- What is HPV?
- How to lower cholesterol
