Thirsty? Drink More Water and Improve Your Sex Life

Water is such a plain, tasteless substance, who knew it could be the simple secret to better sex?

Libidos can be lowered by many things, but one of the lesser known reasons for feeling less desirous is being dehydrated. Experts recommend we drink about 8 to 9 cups of water a day, but many of us don’t.

According to Boston College, two thirds of American don’t drink enough water, which can be bad news for life in the bedroom.

Sheknows.com states that dehydration can cause vaginal dryness, headache, fatigue and irritability- all overwhelming negative ingredients when it comes to the best recipe for feeling ready for a racy romp.

Said Patricia Johnson, co-author of Partners in Passion: A Guide to Great Sex, Emotional Intimacy and Long-term Love to sheknows.com,

“Being sufficiently hydrated is important for female sexual response, in part because it may facilitate natural lubrication, and also because it can make it easier to experience orgasms. Plus, dehydration equals less oxygen being delivered to your sex organs- in other words, you’ll find yourself handing out missing posters for your vagina.”

So, there you go. Don’t let your parts end up on the back of a milk carton: drink up.

In order to get it all in, doctors recommend drinking a cup of water when you wake up, before all three meals and before going to bed.

Add to that one cup of juice and two glasses of milk at meals and you’re done.
