ND Samina Mitha has been amazing! I have endometriosis, and i've had little to no luck on speaking with an MD about managing symptoms in a realistic and not entirely drug filled way. Samina has spoken to me about my hormone management for overall health and endo symptoms in a way i can understand, she has given me advice and recommendations that is actually useful and I can feel good about these choices for the health of my body. She is knowledgable about women's bodies - which is key even if you don't have endometriosis - and about human bodies in general and the way out hormones work and how diet, exercise, etc. affect that. She gives recommendations etc. based on actual data that supports diet, etc. for specific conditions and people and their symptoms, rather than a generalized diet and exercise plan based on the government standards of nutrition. I have recommended her to all of my female friends who suffer with similar issues & have had no real luck with an MD.
