he insisted that I need to extract 4 teeth in order to get braces same thing with my kids
he is just for the money

Going to Dr. Cohen was the biggest mistake of my life.

I began orthodontic work with Dr. Cohen from the time I was in 3rd grade until early highschool. Not only was Dr. Cohen generally an unfriendly orthodontist, but all my current work has been essentially reversed over time. I am now having to seek out another orthodontist in my 20s. My orthodontic work began WAY too early when I barely had any adult teeth in.

I went through the works; an expander, headgear, and braces. Throughout the time of all of the countless appointments I had throughout my childhood, I have been left with tons of anxiety and stress regarding my oral health. The only saving grace was the staff he hired, who were kind, compassionate, and understanding.

I suffer from anxiety and have been made to feel belittled and patronized when I cried or began to panic when I was having work done on my mouth. I have had my mouth and jaw grabbed/pulled at harshly, I have had my tooth chipped by Dr. Cohen, and often after braces care I was left with cuts and scrapes in my mouth/gums.

While wrapping up my orthodontic work in my early teens, my jaw, which had a cross underbite when I began in grade 3, began to RECED back into its original position. Dr. Cohen told me that it should be "fine" but I might want to get headgear again or fix it with jaw surgery. I was floored. I spent YEARS and THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS going to this man, and now the result is "might need more orthodontic work or invasive surgery". I believe this is because I began too early, and by the time it was done my bones were not permanently set in place.

I have currently begun to see another orthodontist, and not excited to spend thousands to fix the blunders of Dr. Cohen.

My advice is to avoid this man at all costs and please seek out orthodontics elsewhere.

I am so thankful that I visited this orthodontist!
I had a very large overbite when I first met him, we were initially planning on having an orthodontic treatment with braces for a year and then jaw surgery. I ended up not having the jaw surgery and extending my orthodontic treatment for 2.5 years. Dr. Cohen transformed my smile. Even once I had fully paid up my braces he continued to work on my teeth with no questions. He listened to all of my concerns and ensured that the end result was as perfect as possible. I believe that he went above and beyond with me. His team member Brandi is also incredible. She is kind and does great work.

Stay far away from this monster of a wasted human being. He’s a con artist. Arrogant, zero bed side manner. I’ve suffered major long term damage. Prolonged shoddy orthodontic work that led to terrible jaw pain (even once a jaw dislocation requiring a visit to the hospital). Now as an adult, I live with the painful consequences and wish I could take him to court. Parents, listen to your kids and believe what they tell you. If not, ask questions and get the heck out!

Dr. Cohen is an incredible orthodontist! He has helped our family so much with early prevention! I recommend. Cohen to all of my family! He is the best!

Worst orthodontist ever. Ruined my two children’s teeth. My daughter as an adult had to have her two front replaced by implants. We should have sued this arrogant butcher.

Had work done on my teeth by Dr. Cohen a couple of years ago. I needed two painful surgeries to repair the damage. He is belligerent and refuses to take responsibility for any damage he causes. Avoid this place at all costs.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS ORTHODONTIST!!
I visited his office 2 years ago for consultation, the very next morning after my visit I had a big bump on my inner lip. That was the least of my nightmare. He told me I needed extraction of four teeth which he could do . I allowed him, that turned out to be the biggest regret of my life . I’m still having headaches , nightmare and discomfort. The very first tooth he tried to extract, he broke off and I had to be rushed to get emergency surgery after immense swelling and bleeding. It was so invasive that it got up to my sinus. I suffered significant bone and gum loss and to this day he refused to take responsibility. To top it off he was very arrogant and unprofessional.

Greedy liar. Instead of sending my husband to a dentist to do extractions he did it himself. Broke off half the tooth, rushed him to a surgeon who had to drill a whole so deep it reached to his sinus. Now my husband need to pay over $10G for bone grafting He takes no responsibility . Uses his dirty hands in Clients mouth . Staff is rude , place looks unsanitary. He is a dirty , incompetent, unprofessional pig
