We had the most wonderful experience with Tiffany. She was always open to questions and helping reassure me. I had some blood pressure issues near the end of pregnancy and she was always very understanding and open whenever I was having a freak-out or high reading. During the birth she was so calm, supportive, knowledgeable. I ended up getting transfered to OB care because of a fever during labour, but she stayed with us the entire time helping us understand interventions that we needed, and caring for my son once he was born. On top of a great birth with her, our first-week feeding was a little rough as baby wasn't peeing as much as he should have been. She called us everyday to help us figure out what was going on, and did multiple home visits (even in the middle of a pandemic) to make sure we were taken care of and baby was thriving. We absolutely loved our experience with her and would have her again in a second.

Tiffany made my birth experience the most special time of my life. My first pregnancy was difficult and left me feeling fearful of what my second birth would look like and Tiffany changed that for me. She was so kind and gentle and always there when I needed her, even for the simplest questions. She was respectful and understanding and never made me feel rushed during our visits or conversations.

My first birth was in a hospital and Tiffany was able to help me have a beautiful and safe home birth, which is what I always wanted. If I ever have friends looking for a midwife, I will always send them to Tiffany because I couldn’t have done this without her. What a beautiful experience this has been.

The kindest, most comforting and knowledgeable person my wife and I have dealt with. She was so understanding and didn’t push us into any decisions and just simply made us aware of all options and outcomes and let us choose what would be best for us.

My birthing experience with Tiffany left me heartbroken and forever disappointed. Ten months later I still truly feel I could have birthed my boy at home, if she hadn’t pushed me into an unwarranted hospital transfer, ultimately leading to a Caesarean delivery. She did not ask why I initially declined a hospital transfer, and she did not care that I am terrified of hospitals. It seemed she was much more comfortable typing notes on her computer and rushing around my hospital room, going between the machine monitoring my baby’s heartbeat and her computer than she was actually encouraging or supporting my labour. Never once did Tiffany touch me in a comforting way, not one time did she put a hand on my shoulder and tell me that my body was capable of birthing my son. Her manner was clinical and very rule-based, less professionally judging of an individual situation. Tiffany was more of a “medical” midwife, more comfortable in the hospital than she was in my home, happier with machines monitoring everything. She did not turn out to be the hands-on labour support that I so much needed. I am still crushed by my birthing experience ten months later, and still wish so deeply I hadn’t gone into labour when it was her week on call.
