I consulted Tess Peters for a non healing oozing, crusting nipple sore. I was concerned about Paget’s disease of the breast as both my mother and sister had breast CA. Tess Peters dismissed this stating Paget’s is too rare and diagnosed atopic dermatitis. Recommended I use Vaseline to treat and did not recommended any X-ray or scans to investigate.

One month later my nipple was not healed and was bleeding. Tess Peter's advise to continue says using Vaseline.

My GP arranged for a general surgeon to assess me and booked me for an urgent biopsy. I received a diagnosis of Paget’s Breast CA and a recommendation for partial or full mastectomy and radiation.

RUN from Tess Peter’s. She arrogantly assumes that she knows and doesn’t. She doesn’t care. Is dismissive. I wrote her a letter and she never acknowledge it.

Thank God I got a second opinion from a reputable physician as I would likely be dead if I had listened to Tess Peters.

The new clinic is very chaotic and I've seen Dr. Peters a couple times in the last year and she comes across across arrogant and like she doesn't want to be there. Probably best to move on.

I had the unfortunate luck of seeing her first at viso for a concerning mole when she walked in I could tell that she was upset already because I was not a beauty client I am a dude with a mole, she was cold and condescending shut down any questions I had around the mole, dosent leave you with alot confidence that you are in caring hands. I felt really bad for her assistant who looked like she was doing her best to make up for Peter's poor bedside manner.

I saw Dr Peters a few times she was condescending. For my Botox injection she had a girl who worked in the office do the shots. I ended up in the ER with Angio Edema my throat was closing up. When I told Dr Peters what happened she said I trained her myself. I told her you had at least 10 yrs of training how could you let your office staff with no medical training work on me. I heard she lost her Dermatology license.

Not happy with my experience with her - seemed rude and didnt really want to hear about my skin concerns aside from trying to sell lazer or botox

I was hesitant to review due to the poor experience I had with Dr. Peter’s when she was at Viso. I was referred for multiple reasons, one skin condition she looked at for 2 seconds, and prescribed a cream instead of investigating further leading to a misdiagnosis. She also removed a mole which got infected after the removal of stitches where the nurse did not sterilize anything, and the worst scar from any stitches I’ve had. I was also upsold while waiting to purchase a gift certificate, not long before the clinic closed. I hope her future clients have a more pleasant experience.

Beyond amazing. She really cares, and although I only see her once every 6 months she remembers me, my history, and my issues. My life is changed, went from 45% covered in psoriasis to 1%, but that's not good enough for her; she refuses to rest until I'm completely free of my psoriasis. Love the dedication.

Dr Peters is extremely knowledgeable and evidently cares about her patients. I do not understand some of the negative comments on here. Maybe people don’t realize that doctors can’t spend unlimited time with each patient and not run late, affecting other patient booked that day. They also don’t seem to appreciate that many peoples concerns can be addressed-but are not covered by MSP. By having cosmetic options available, Dr Peters can address all of her patients skin concerns- medical or cosmetic. I have only had positive interactions with Dr Peters. She is very efficient but takes extra time with patients when needed and is exceptional at her craft. Anyone would be lucky to be her patient.

Dr Peters blamed my skin condition on my culture. She tried to put me on black box medications telling me not to worry, she has had children on them for years. She also told me I need to educate myself because I was going to be living with “eczema” for life. It turns out I had red skin syndrome, caused by topical steroids, the drug she prescribed to me and told me to use more of. I think maybe she needs to take her own advice and educate herself on the dangerous medications she is prescribing, because I am now in my fourth year of topical steroid withdrawal which is an absolute living nightmare.
