If I could have ever gotten a direct like to him or an email he likely would have helped me, but having to make an appt every time I had a question or issue made it unworkable. He also simply sent me home with a cpap set poorly for me and I had to figure out the therapy on my own. Its things like this that make 50% of all cpap users fail treatment and give up.

His office also failed to help me in an emergency, insisting I come in for an emergency RX for a replacement machine. they insisted it was necessary for the provider to have an in person appt, but this is simply false. I got an RX from my GP and it worked fine. They clearly want people to come in to be billed. He would have nothing to say to me except, "here is your Rx"

Wonderful doctor. Never rushes you, incredibly caring, and doesn't force any one treatment option on you. Looks at the whole person in determining the best course of treatment and will explain things to you thoroughly and clearly. Would recommend him enthusiastically.

Dr. Feinsilver is clearly an expert in his field. He was patient in explaining my father's condition and sat with us while going over his diagnosis. We felt very comfortable in his office and I enjoyed going to the new location in Great Neck, NY. Dr. Steven Feinsilver was very help and so was his staff, I would definitely recommend him.

My condition turned out to be beyond his scope of practice yet he kept insisting he didn't think there was a problem. Well here I am an oncologist and surgeon later...I would say there was a problem. Although he is knowledagble with technology and is very vocal in telling people that it did not help me. No one likes to give bad news, but have the decency to admit what you know and don't know. Do not skirt around the issue or give false hope.

I didn't feel he took my problem seriously...he just prescribed the same medications I had been taking which I told him did not work. He didn't even listen to my lungs...just relied on the x-ray that was taken. I have a history of serious lung problems my whole life and have been to other pulmonolgists who cared (but they had retired). I was extremely disappointed in him...and after one uncaring visit, would not return. He was not helpful at all.
