Biography

Dr. Van Giesen was born into a military family and grew up living throughout the United States and Europe. He has lived and practiced in Elizabeth City for the past 38 years and has successfully treated over 5000 local and not so local residents. Over the years he has developed an excellent and trusted reputation working with our local medical community. He has been voted “Elizabeth City’s Best Chiropractor” for 15 years. Paul Harris Fellow- Rotary Dr. Van Giesen enjoys travel, hiking vacations, cooking, reading and listening to music especially “The Blues.” He enjoys long-distance running and has completed 10 marathons. The outdoors, nature and wilderness survival are special interests of his and he is a graduate of 2 Outward Bound survival schools.
