Patient 28 yrs, thru ,Cardiac Arrest, 8 stents,3 Defibrillator, Cardiac Arrest,& recent problem w/ wire to heart from Defibrillator ( the way he handled a delicate situation) is reason he is to be rated @ top Of his Field.A doctor who listens to his patient , doesn’t talk over your voice , which is big problem of many drs.

Dr. Katz was wonderful and saved my Dad's life by performing a cathorization using state of the art technology at one of the best hospitals in the state, North Shore University, Manhasset.

Dr. Katz literally saved my life about ten years ago. If it was not for him and his advanced cardiac intervention techniques, I would have had to have by-pass that was not needed at that time. I have 7 stents, 10 years later and cardiolically, never been better.

Dr. Katz has you in and out in a few minutes. He quickly looks at your records and tells you that you need a test. When he doesn't know what to do, you get a catheterization. I switched to Dr. Johnson at North Shore.

Compassionate and straight-forward. Will not recommend invasive surgery unless you're really better off having it.
