We have struggled with infertility for 8 years. I was seeing another Dr. at this clinic when I first started going and my experience was not great. My husband and I agreed to one final try at IVF and we switched to Dr. Corbett. She was very well prepared and I could tell that she took the time to review my file and test results before meeting with my husband and I. (which unfortunately was not our previous experience with another Dr. at the same clinic) She was always prepared and listened to what we were saying, and watched our body language to understand how we were feeling and what our experiences were. She made some changes to our protocol from our previous failed IVF and really took her time in ensuring that we felt comfortable before proceeding. Unfortunately, due to covid we had to wait a few months, and when we resumed our treatment she was so thorough and actually post-poned our treatment to make sure that I was able to get some other tests and have a polyp removed beforehand to improve our chances. None of her recommendations ended up costing us any additional money, and she did tell me that if she were speaking to her sister she would give them the same advice. I truly feel like she understood how I was feeling emotionally this entire time, and he took time to make sure that my husband was comfortable too. We're now ready to go through our first and only FET cycle and we're both so hopeful and happy. No matter what happens here, I'm grateful that we switched to Dr. Corbett and that we listened to her advice, counsel and recommendations. I would highly recommend Dr. Corbett to anyone struggling with infertility from all aspects. You'll walk away feeling like a human being and not just a number.

Shannon Corbett told me that as a result of my AMH bloodwork (done the month after I stopped the pill), I have an alarmingly low egg count and I should start the IVF process immediately. One doctor (not Dr Corbett) immediately asked why was I doing the test while on the pill as it skews results, but my doctor didn't mention this. I have also read that the hormones in the pill causes suppressed ovary function which makes ovaries shrink and egg counts 19% lower AMH and 16% fewer early stage follicles lower than usual (https://www.livescience.com/46616-birth-control-pills-womens-fertility.html). She performed a SHG herself on me, which she told me during the test that my remaining tube was blocked. At the follow-up visit, she told me that I should hurry to do private IVF and not wait for government funding because I have no chance of conceiving naturally and that my ovary was at risk of adnexal torsion. While I appreciate that is true, I was planning a wedding and already at high stress. I went to another clinic to get a second opinion. The second clinic did a HSG with x-ray and concluded that my tube was in fact open and it may be possible to conceive naturally. My AMH, while not great, was tested again and definitely not nearly as bad as Dr Corbett made it out to be.

Dr. Corbett was very cold and robotic, definitely not the greatest bedside manner. When she told me my tube was blocked and I was infertile, there was no feeling of sympathy from her. I left RCC feeling like they were trying to take advantage of my shitty situation.

Great experience at RCC and Dr. Corbett! This facility has everything on site. Apart from some
Challenges getting through on the phone from time to time, we had such a great experience and never felt like just a number thanks to the great admin, nurse and docs.

I sought fertility treatment from Dr. Corbett as a 34 year old, single woman, with PCOS. Dr. Corbett went above and beyond in explaining my treatment and medication options. Dr. Corbett answered all my questions and I always left appointments feeling well cared for and confident in the process. I had a successful IUI on my FIRST attempt. Dr. Corbett, Dr. Lee and the entire team at the Reproductive Care Clinic (RCC) are phenomenal!

We've been with Dr Corbett for around 1 year. I was diagnosed with endometriosis and was referred for surgery at Women's College. Dr Corbett was amazing throughout the entire process. She gave great re-assuring and un-biased advice. Her bedside manner is amazing and she is highly intelligent. My husband and I are so lucky to have her. I am now 3 months pregnant and I owe it all to Dr Corbett and her well-thought out plan. Thank you!!!!
