Our family left her practice after having a very terrible experience… Dr Sarah refused to support us when our daughter struggled with mental health issues… she ended up hitting rock bottom because she didn’t get the help she needed.

So thankful to have Dr. Takach take care of my family. We came to her at the recommendation of a family friend and could not be happier with our choice. I have been years without a Family doctor. Since finding Dr Sarah I have been taking better care of myself and my Family. I feel that she is very attentive and listens to my concerns about my health. I have also referred several of my Family and Friends who are also looking for a new doctor.

What a wonderful doctor! My partner and I have been seeing Dr. Takach for some time and have only good things to say about our experience. My partner has quite a few health issues so we are in a fair amount. Never has a doctor made us feel so heard or involved. Dr. Sarah just has this knack for knowing exactly what to say in those tough moments. Wish we had found her earlier!

Also, reading through these comments, I have to just remind everyone that most of the people that post to these forums are disgruntled folks looking for a soapbox to shout from. When people are happy and satisfied they rarely take the time to come out and comment. Take some of the things said here with a grain of salt. Dr. Takach truly is a wonderful physician.

Dr. Sarah has been a gift to my family. Kind, patient, and knowledgeable, she really makes you feel heard during appointments. And she's absolutely amazing with the little ones!

Never in my life have I experienced a doctor with such terrible bedside manner. Rude, abrupt, unprofessional and comes across as if she really doesn't care less. I don't expect someone to be happy and jovial every time they see me, but she could attempt SOME kind of caring nature .
I've tried to give her the benefit of the doubt over the years, on a number occasions, knowing that some people may come across a certain way if they have something going on in their life. But she appears to be the same, whenever I visit. I don't understand how a doctor can ask, "well... what do you want to do then"?, after you've explained the reason for your visit. During my most recent visit she asked that question and I asked her if blood work might be something I should consider. She responded by saying, "okay, well is that what you want then? Okay I'll order blood work...."
Is it not her job to advise me on the best way to manage my concerns?? Each time I visit, which is very seldom, I feel as if I am rushed out of the door because she's too busy to give me the time of day and then I I often leave forgetting some concerns that I'd wanted to bring up to her during my visit. It was the worst mistake I could make, when I switched from a doctor I'd had for 30 years in Burlington, because I moved. Is extremely hard to find a family doctor..

This place has been a joke since my first visit. Dr TAKACH is unbelievably unprofessional and seems to be a “practicing” doctor for the money. She refuses to deal with more than one topic a visit, leaving you in the unknown and causing high stress. I have chest discomfort and was then prescribed medication to help, then I asked for a referral to a cardiologist (due to past diagnosis - heart murmur) and she refused to refer me, unless I book another appointment. I didn’t know cardiac issues can just be pushed a couple weeks? Greed is real here. OHIP is more of a priority than you.
Her lack of care, coupled with her attitude and unprofessionalism, has me confused on how someone like this can run a doctors office.
If you value your health (or your family’s) do yourself a favour and find a better doctor.
