Worst doctor I’ve ever had. Incredibly rude, brusque and her temperament changes on a dime. She can go from nice enough to losing it on you for questioning her treatment plan.
Literally said ‘what do you expect me to do’ at my last appointment when I went in with concerns about pain that isn’t going away. I have to have someone else in the room with me for the appointments just to get her to believe and/or listen to my concerns. Seems she doesn’t believe in mental health issues or that younger people can have health problems.
She has changed a lot since she worked in Hagersville. I honestly don’t know how she still has her license.
Definitely do not recommend to anyone unless you want no help and to be yelled at.

Today this doctor advised me she would no longer be filling providing medical clearances for her patients to complete other procedures (ex. Dental extraction) because “THERE IS A FEE” and it “ISNT HER JOB”. Incredibly rude and unprofessional for an “MD”. This woman needs to be investigated.

Dr. Takach has been mine and my family’s doctor for 7 years and we’ve never had a better doctor. It’s not hard to get an appointment with her, she takes my daughter in the same day or at latest the very next day, (kids are a high priority), she never rushes us, she’s patient and kind. She listens and is very thorough with her exams and I don’t feel like I’m being judged when I come in with a little worry. I’ve recommended her to many people who all have nothing but great things to say about her! Happy I have a great doctor. Miranda & Mandy are very welcoming and accommodating to your needs and they go above and beyond to make sure what you need is taken care of!! Grateful for them all ❤️

Dr. Takach is my family Dr. And I have nothing but amazing experiences with her and her team! She is always very helpful and very insightful. I had to change my family Dr. As getting in to see him was very difficult and she took me in with welcoming arms. I've never had a bad visit with her and look forward to every time I get to see her and her team!

Dr Takach is my opinion is a fabulous doctor!!! My entire family sees her. She listens and directs us in the right direction to give us the right help needed for our concerns.
I’ve had in-person and telephone appointments and I never felt rushed or ignore. I will always recommend her when people are inquiring for a family doctor.
She’s the BESTEST!!!!!!

I met Dr. Takach while I was advocating for an individual with complaints of new chest pain. Dr. Takach hardly touched the patient during her assessment, no vitals were taken, and she was very dismissive of our concerns. This doctor did listen to the patient's chest, commenting that their "heart sounds fine". When I further explained the symptoms being experienced in detail, she actually rolled her eyes and asked what I wanted. I asked for a referral for a holter monitor, and she replied "I don't read those". In my personal experience, family doctors in the Hamilton area have been very capable of sending patient's for holter monitoring without the aid of a cardiologist. The appointment ended quite abruptly, and Dr. Takach went to her office for a "telephone appointment" with another patient. I had to deal with (amazing) staff to get a requisition for a basic ECG, and wait for Dr. Takach to finish her phone call as I was adamant that someone take the time to measure and record the patient's basic vital signs before we left.
I write this review with no ill motive.

I agree with other reviews where it says that she rushes you and doesn’t listen to concerns. Her favourite comment is to tell you to head to the ER instead of doing her job. No wonder ERs are overrun when Drs like her won’t see patients in a regular basis.

I have been a patient with this Dr for 3 yrs now. I am a nurse in the community and since I work in health care I always wanted a Dr who will be honest and helpful and explain to me what’s going one, this Dr is exactly that. I want a Dr who is going to be honest and not beat around the bush like a friend. Knowledge beats bedside manner any day in my world. Keep up the great work and Mandy (WOW) she is an god sent too the clinic the teamwork between the both of them is amazing.
