Very good experience with a relative's G.B. surgery. Communicated well, concerned re patient safety post-op, and was able to do laparoscopic approach in difficult circumstances. Office liason nurse was also helpful.

Dr Khan performed a minor surgical procedure, removing a peritoneal cyst. His professional approach made one feel at ease. He explained the procedure and results carefully. Unlike his predecessor, Dr Khan waited to make a diagnosis/prognosis until after he had the biopsy results. The surgery was performed at VGH where the nurse had great difficulty placing the iv; however, thanks to the excellent and thorough anesthesiologist, Dr. Chan, this too was addressed efficiently and effectively.

He did a simple procedure on me at Vic General and was cordial, kind and very skilled. He kept me informed of everything he was doing at all times while he was performing it. He also seems to have a good sense of humour.

No complaints at all with this surgeon, so far I like him well.
