It’s been a year since I had a partial mastectomy with Alison. I had absolutely no post-op pain and healed very quickly with only a very faint scar. I’m very happy with the result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone facing breast surgery. She’s a very skilled surgeon and has a great personality too. Her assistant Gale is great too…she responds quickly to questions and concerns. Thank you both.
I just want to say how grateful I am to Dr. Alison Ross and her personal assistant, Gale, for making my surgery such a positive experience. Dr. Ross repaired my ventral chest hernia, and from start to finish, she was incredibly professional and kind. She took the time to clearly explain the procedure, walked me through everything before the operation, and has such a warm, reassuring bedside manner. Gale was just as wonderful—so organized, helpful, and on top of all the scheduling details. Everything went smoothly, and I truly felt well taken care of the entire time. If I ever need another operation, I sincerely hope it’s with Dr. Ross again.
Dr Ross took the time to explain my diagnosis and my options to both my husband and myself. Her explanation was clear & easy to understand. She was there before my surgery to check on me & said I could call the office anytime if I had any concerns. Dr Ross & her assistant Gale Woolcock are very supporting & caring people.

Exceptional doctor. Kind, caring and knowledgeable . No BS or politics- just straight up and forthright with a positive attitude and good sense of humour. Gale is also wonderful. Cannot give a higher rating!
Coming up to my one year anniversary with Dr Ross where we spent six hours on the operating table with her and of course I slept through the time , she performed a Whipple procedure and after all that she took the time to phone my wife to let her know that everything was good. In recovery she was there every morning if not she was there in the evening after working all day. I owe this beautiful woman my life and I’m so thankful for everything she did for me. After returning home she called me on a weekend to tell me my results of the tissue samples that was sent away for testing, her excuse for working on the weekend was that she knew I would want to hear some good news that all samples were clear. I do believe that she is truly an angel and I was truly blessed to have her as my doctor. Much love Alison Ross.
Dr. Ross is well known in the breast cancer community as a compassionate, knowledgeable and experienced surgeon. After my lumpectomy I went for my first follow up mammogram and the technician said "you had Dr. Ross do your surgery didn't you"? I asked how she knew and she said they can tell by the quality of the incision and how much care she takes to keep the scarring to a minimum. She also looked after my mom's surgery and was so kind to her. "I got you Eileen' she said before her surgery and my mom was comforted by her care.
Dr. Ross performed my double mastectomy with sentinel node biopsy after being diagnosed with breast cancer. She is highly skilled, knowledgeable, confident in what she does and she truly cares about her patients. She was extremely thorough with my pre-surgery scans to know exactly what we were dealing with. She never rushed me in appointments and always ensured I left her office feeling good about the plan to tackle my cancer. On the day of my surgery, I was an emotional mess and she came to my bed before going in the OR with smiles and left me feeling at ease. Gale is also amazing (her MOA) and was always there via email or phone when I had questions. She is an absolute gem. Dr. Ross & Gale, thank you for making my most difficult life journey a little easier. Dr. Ross, you literally saved my life and I am cancer free because of you. Thank you doesn't seem like enough!
Dr. Ross saved my life. I was diagnosed with stones in my gallbladder. I was scheduled for the removal surgery the next day in the morning. Dr. Ross came by my bedside before leaving for the day at 10pm. She noticed that the infection was progressing. She stayed and performed the surgery that evening. My gallbladder was dead and could have poisoned my body, Dr. Ross' attentiveness and her actions saved my life. I'm all well and alive because she cared. Thank you Dr. Ross.
From our first meeting regarding my breast cancer, I felt reassured and calmed, feeling I was in very capable hands. The resultant surgery was very successful with the pathology report showing no spread into the surrounding margins. I feel extremely fortunate to be in the care of Dr. Ross, and am now considering Radiation treatment. With Sincere Thanks, an 85 year old, Monika P.
