Gave my son an Rx with instructions to smear all over legs for a rash--for months. When we called for a 3rd refill, his nurse berated us for using such a strong med so profusely. I told her that Dr M had prescribed and she told me, "He would NEVER prescribe something like that. Found out later that this is cancer causing and should NOT be used beyond short term and sparingly. While waiting in the office, we overheard a man with skin cancer told that he couldn't get surgery for 3 months. Did mole biopsy on my husband with a wide and almost 3 inch long scar for small mole--still big after over a decade. Very nice man, but not someone I'd recommend as a skin dr!
