Extremely rude and dismissive, which is a strange trait for someone who works in a medical/therapeutic field. In my first meeting, she was extremely terse and kept cutting my off saying that she didn’t want to hear anything about me because she didn’t have time and then in the the second meeting, which had be scheduled for over two months, she showed up and accused me of canceling the meeting and said once again that she didn’t have time to meet with me, even though I had not touched the meeting slot and just confirmed again in my email that I had kept the original appointment that she sent. It was very unprofessional and especially given that one should be able to trust their psych practitioner to look out for his/her best needs, on both occasions, she could not have been more arrogant, abrasive, and entitled.

She was the worst doctor I have ever saw in my life, I had my first appointment on December 2023, now is final of March 2024, and she not prescribed me a correct medication.

These appointments are strange. If I didn't already feel bad about myself I do now. Very short appointments that I keep having to book over and over again, and still not resolve. Strange online booking system too, would rather speak to a real person.

Dr. Motamedi is awesome. She took decent amount of time discussing my symptoms and is a genuine, good and warm human being. Sucks that she's not taking in more patients for her family practice. Thank you so much Dr. M if you're reading this by any chance :)

I can't express how good she is! Don't just listen to her. Write it down. Read. Again and again, she'll surprise you. Amazingly straightforward and caring.
She's a gem. Rare gem.

Incredibly compassionate and caring doctor. I've been dealing with mental health issues my whole life and Dr. Motamedi has opened my eyes with my ADHD diagnosis. For the first time, my feelings and symptoms weren't downplayed or ignored by the doctor, she listened and helped me find the right treatment. My life makes sense now.

Waited for treatment for months got assigned her for treatment to BPD and bipolar and ADHD. She put me on seroquel and lamptrogine. The first seroquel was way too strong so we lowered it. I started to feel better more balanced but the side effects were scary. I wanted to talk about trying something new or going off my meds but she decided to randomly take me off the list “to make room for other people” she said I would still be able to message her if anything went wrong but when I tried to on medimap I am no longer able to message her on connect MD. She has left me to go off the meds I’ve been taking for 8 months cold turkey. Terrible experience. No compassion. She should not be working in this field.

I have had 3 video appointments with Dr. Mitra to date and have been very satisfied. I found her empathetic, understanding and accommodating. Though I have read others negative or very negative reviews, this has not been my experience in the least.

Ive been seeing Dr Mitra for a few months now with a previous diagnosis of Bipolar and BPD. She diagnosed me with ADHD and also tried to diagnose me with autism and dyslexia. Ive been on the same meds for 2 years and love them, but she said they were weird and wouldnt treat my ADHD until she fixed my other meds.

First thing she did was put me on 200mg of seroquel, wanted me to go up to 300mg. I had such a bad reaction on 200mg, slept for 20 hours, missed work, nauseous, dizzy. I had to go off immediately. Then she put me on Lamotragine, 100mg. That was fine until I went up to 200mg, was sick for days, ended up in the ER feeling dizzy, stoned, nauseous and had horrible tremors. My whole body wouldnt stop shaking. I stopped taking the pills immediately and went back to the ER the next night, suicidal.

After going to the ER twice I looked her up and found out shes not a psychiatrist and not qualified to be treating my disorders or prescribing these types of meds. I feel like she heard my disorders and assumed I am dangerous to myself and others and tried to sedate me with high doses of intense medications.
