Biography

Dr. Kevin Smith is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon serving children with facial differences in Oklahoma City for more than 20 years. Dr. Smith is the most experienced surgeon in cleft lip and palate and other facial deformities for pediatric patients in the Oklahoma area. He also has significant experience in facial trauma, jaw surgery, bone grafting, and other minor oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures. Dr. Smith is a full clinical professor at the University of Oklahoma and the director of the Residency Training Program and director of the Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery Fellowship at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Smith is co-director of two American Cleft and Palate Association recognized cleft teams in Oklahoma The team in Oklahoma City at the J.W. Keys Speech and Hearing Center and in Tulsa at the University of Tulsa Mary K. Chapman Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Dr. Smith is the former president of both the Oklahoma Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a professional member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
