Dr. Cahill is knowledgeable and caring, but in the past 2 years I have noticed a significant decline in the quality of his office staff. I have waited days for return phone calls, had prescription refill requests lost, and was even mistakenly referred to a specialist when the referral was meant to be for another patient with a similar last name. This has been very discouraging, and I am seriously considering changing to a new primary care provider.

I recently moved to lafayette seeking a new family doctor. I chose Dr. Cahill's office due to location. After my first visit, I felt like I was not getting the best service. he has fought me numerous times when I am completely aware of how to handle my issues with the help of certain prescriptions. He refuses to save me a visit to the office by just calling out the prescriptions needed to aid my problems. Also to mention, that he has also sent me to a specialist that was supposed to send him the diagnosis. It has been 8 months and still no diagnosis on my issue. I have to constantly check up on his staff to ensure that they have received what he has requested.I am just fed up with his antics and non willingness to help. I feel that I work at his office and he has no staff. Because of these issues I am seeking a new family doctor.

Because I have quiet a few health issues it's hard to find a doctor who is as understanding as Dr Cahill his. He's the best doctor I've had in a long time. I love his staff also.

So, where do I start? One of the first times that I say him, he suggested that I have a freckle removed from my hand just to be on the caution side. Well, that didn't go to well, while he was doing to procedure I passed out. That had never happened before. I think that the nicked a vein. Since then I only see him if i really have to. The next time when I was there they forgot I was in a a waiting room because a nurse lost my chart. Waited about 45 mins to be seen. His staff is not close to average. I had blood work done and a level was high so they faxed over to have more blood tested. Called back the next day and they never got the results. The fax didn't go through to the testing company so it wasn't done. They are closed on fridays so since they got the results in but failed to call me and let me know the results. I mean really...needless to say I am searching for a new doctor for the family.

Extremely satisfied with visits to Dr. Cahill's office. He was thorough in his review and assessment of my concerns. He made appropriate referrals which resulted in timely appointments with specialists, procedures, and labs. He telephoned me very quickly after receiving results and spent time with explanations. I am grateful to have him as my physician.

The most friendly and helpful doctor that I have seen in many, many years. I have been described as a "typical" guy in that I only went the doctor when my wife made me..and when I did go, I would tell the doc anything except yes or no's to their questions. Dr. Cahill's character and interaction has led me towards a working relationship with a knowledged medical professional through which I have experienced great physical and mental health benefits.

Dr Cahill as well as his staff make you feel like you are their only patient. He takes the time to review with you all the things that have gone on since your last visit, answer all your questions and if he cannot help you he will find a doctor that can. He is the best, as a matter of fact my mother and my daughter are also his patients.

Dr. Kelly is one of the best Doctors I've seen in Lafayette, right behind Dr. Rogers. He doesn't keep you waiting, reviews all of your other doctor's results and really cares.
