If only more docs were like Dr. Toews. I was super lucky she was my doc after waiting 5 hours at Eagle Ridge ER. She is super respectful, knowledgeable and caring. Thank you Dr Toews for getting me setup for an appendectimy at RCH to be done that evening. British Columgia is so lucky you are one of docs!

Dr. Towes is one of those rare doctors who really cares to help, knowledgeable and kind. She helped me at Royal Colombian hospital emergency. I didn’t regret waiting for hours after she saw me. Despite how tired she was, she was fully committed to help me heal. She is the angle!

I brought my daughter into ER at Eagle Rodge as she was in extreme pain in her lower back. Dr Toews was so caring and compassionate. Diagnosed the issue and was able to help her temporarily but got her into a specialist within a few days where she finally found relief. Sometimes the stars align and being at ERH when Dr Toews was the attending physician was the best thing that could have happened for my daughter. She got the ball rolling.

She kept the ER very positive and up beat for Christmas Eve. Patients were very relaxed despite the wait. I don’t think I have seen this anywhere else!

I saw her at royal Colombian hospital ER and I have to say she is the most caring , and thorough doctor I have ever seen . She listened and answered all the questions I had and left me with a positive attitude regarding my diagnosis . She also apologized for the wait which in all honesty was not that long . I have to reiterate that she is the best doctor I have ever seen and I was mesmerized by her . I have never met a doctor who actually looked you in the eyes and cared about you as a patient even if they didn’t know you until Dr.Toews

I couldn't agree more with all the good things people say about Dr. Toews. I believe that working at a high-stress environment like ER reveals a person’s true personality. When Dr. Toews was seeing me, she was not like any doctors who treat patient with attitude and cold stare. She was kind, empathetic and listens to every single word I was telling her. She also examined thoroughly to make sure that nothing is missed. Thank you so much Dr. Toews. You are one of the best doctors I’ve met in my life!

The first doctor I met in my life who really cared, listened and was genuinely concerned. I have full faith in her diagnosis of my condition and wholeheartedly believe that she will cure me of my symptoms. I cannot thank her enough for making me feel human and not just another patient.
