Dr. Elsharkawy explained the results of my x-rays and treatment options for hip osteoarthritis very well. I ended up having total hip replacement, and I could not be more relieved and pleased with the extremely successful results. I feel like I am on the road to getting my life back.

I had a partial right knee replace in mid April 2019 by Dr. Elsharkawy. The whole experience went well. All the office personnel were pleasant and helpful. Dr. Elsharkawy explains everything and I felt I was good hands. Dr. Elsharkawy and his staff took very good care of me. The overnight stay at Plano Presbyterian went well because the staff was excellent. I was visited after surgery Dr. Elsharkawy and again the next morning as well as his PA and Dr. Harris that performed my pre-op physical. I intending on having my left knee done soon and hope to see all of them again.

My whole experience with Dr. Elsharkawy was extremely satisfying. From the minute I step foot in his office to the time I left was about 1 hour. He has the most efficient office I've every been in. Everyone was kind and knowledgeable . My surgery , recovery and Home Health went well. My incision is healing well with a very fine line. He is very maticulas on his incisions. Such a great job and a wonderful surgeon. Thank you so much for your expertise.

This was my first operation or visit to a doctor for other than a minor checkup. I am not accustomed to medicine, pain, or any ailments that incapacitates me. Dr. E. and his staff (after an agreed on referral) started the process of educating me on my particular joint-hip maladjustment. I began to understand my current and future issues with x-ray perspectives that enlightened me on the extent of my condition. Dr. E. explained, in great detail and with visual models, the situation I was in and the options I could entertain. I elected the operation due to my age, what I expected in the future, and my health. The operation was coordinated and scheduled with the staff and operation day arrived. I can honestly say, I did not feel a thing before, during, or after the surgery to this day (which is over a month later). The operation went well, coordinated therapy went well, healing is great, and my post-op exam sent me on my way driving to Louisiana for an engagement. I do not recommend doctors unless you really need one, but I would rather have one that has a track record and consistently checks on his patience (through staff or emails) to ensure their conditions are being met. Great Job!!

I went to Dr. Elsharkawy about my left knee. He was very thorough in his exam. He explained my options and told me exactly what the surgery would;d entail. I decided on a total knee replacement which was done at the end of October. I was very pleased with way the entire procedure. Dr. Elsharkawy and his staff were very professional and thorough. My recovery went well. It has been less than 3 months and I amount extremely please with the results. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Elsharkawy. If I were to have any further joint issues I know that he would be my first stop.

Excellent pre and post operative care. I had a total hip replacement in late October. My experience with Dr. Elsharkaway and his staff (notably Amanda and Taylor) has been excellent. The risks of the operation were carefully explained and throughout the process my calls and concerns were answered promptly. Kudos, too, to the staff at Texas Health Presybyterian, whose care during and following the surgery was exemplary. I highly recommend this surgeon and his staff.

Dr. Elsharkawy performed a total knee replacement for me 6 weeks ago. I am progressing very well and credit his knowledge and expertise with my uneventful recovery! He and his staff are
excellent and skilled in their respective fields of work. There is always someone with whom you can speak should the need arise. The Pre-Op classes are thorough, well done and tailored to the needs of the patients and their families who attend. Five stars all around! Thank you!
