After a while of research I found Dr. Cano! My first appointment was amazing because he not only listened to every word I said, but he also answered all my questions. He recommended that I take anti/inflammatory proprietary supplements and pharmaceutical grade Omega 3 fish oil. I provided blood work that I had done 5 months prior and he noticed that I was lacking vitamin D so he strongly suggested that as well.

The radiologist asked me today what cream I'm using on my skin because it looks so good after 4 weeks of radiation. I told him - nothing! I'm using faith in God and the human body's ability to heal, and the dietary supplements from my doctor, The nurse asked me what I've been doing so I told her about eating whole plant foods with fiber to keep glycemic levels down and cutting out sugar/carbs because cancer loves sugar, per the advice of my naturopath and using supplements. She was being polite but I could tell by the lack of recognition in her eyes she didn't know what I was talking about!
I left the appointment thinking I just told a doctor and nurse "what's what"!
Thank you Dr for the amazing results - you have educated me and guided me in the right direction.

I’ve been seeing different specialists for over 5 years trying to find out why I felt so horrible on a daily basis. Years of tests and $50 copays and nothing... In 30 minutes Dr. Cano diagnosed a wheat allergy and I’m on way way to feeling whole again. Fantastic doctor, very personable and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend. Worth every penny!

I didn't really feel comfortable with his suggestions for my condition. I researched some things and he contradicted himself on 3 separate issues. I didn't like the fact that his appointment schedule is so limited.

I discovered Dr. Cano’s services during an outbreak of a very difficult to treat skin condition, called lichen planus. This condition had covered my body from the neck down and was not being addressed appropriately, and I believe being made worse, by steroids that were prescribed to me by dermatologists. Nonetheless, and even from the beginning of treatment, I felt confident that I was under good care under Dr. Cano’s treatment. Dr. Cano’s appointment’s were enlightening as much as they were therapeutic. I was prescribed homeopathic remedies that I felt were individualized for me and appropriate for what I was going through. Moreover, during his appointments I was able to learn about the parts of myself that contributed to health, these were the emotional, mental, spiritual, and social aspects not just the physical. Most importantly, I felt enabled to experience a more healthful way of living. I have not experienced this type of treatment from any doctor that I have seen in my life. Learning about and experiencing naturopathic medicine has even inspired me to pursue a naturopathic medical degree myself. Lastly, I have still only seen or heard of a handful of doctors who are as Dr. Cano and who live out the naturopathic principles genuinely. Dr. Cano is unique in his companion towards his patients, is dedicated to get to the root cause of health issues, and impart knowledge that empowers you to manage your health successfully.
