I had seen 3 dermatologists for my adult acne before doing my own research and going to Dr. Mendonca - I wish I saw her first and saved myself the 8 years.

When I was reading the reviews I saw so many people were in same situation as me so I was hopeful but I still had my doughs as the three previous dermatologists couldn't make it leave for more than a month.

I am so happy to say that it's been over a year now and my acne has not come back !!

Dr. Mendonca truly does change lives, I want to thank her for not only my results but also my confidence and life back.

I have been meaning to leave a review for a long time now but what really got me back on her page to leave this review is a coworker from my new job just said I had great skin and wanted to know my skin care routine. I let them know my struggles with acne and how my skin is really all thanks to Dr. Mendonca. I quickly sent my coworker this link and the contact information I had on hand.

Dr Janet Mendonca is truly the best doctor I have ever seen. My visits with her never felt rushed, and I never had to wait long in the waiting room. She took her time and really got to know me during my appointments. She listened and was empathetic. Dr Mendonca always answered any questions I had and never made me feel stupid for asking! She used language that was easy for the average person to understand without sounding patronizing. She was the first doctor who believed me and her help has changed my life for the better. She is what every doctor should aspire to be.

Dr Mendonca and her staff are exceptional! She is kind, professional, patient and very knowledgeable. It is clear that medicine is her passion! Her receptionist, Paula, is lovely! I also appreciated that she was on-time so I didn't have to wait for an appt. It is very difficult to see a skin doctor right now and I am grateful to be seen so quickly and efficiently. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

Dr. Mendonca honestly changed my life. I started getting acne at an adult age and had no idea how to deal with it as I had never experienced it as a teenager. My self confidence took a huge hit, which eventually had a massive impact on my mental health. I had so much anxiety about my acne, I would do everything to cover it up and cried about it almost daily. I was so ashamed of my skin I suffered from severe mental health episodes and was constantly depressed and defeated over trying to solve it. I also spent a small fortune trying to get rid of it. One of the best decisions I have made in my life is going to see Dr. Mendonca. Not only was she an absolute joy to work with, but she listened to my concerns and approaches I wanted to take. I am so happy with my skin now and my mental health has improved drastically since receiving treatment from her. I recommend her to everyone I know if they are having concerns with their skin. There isn't enough I can say about this doctor, she honestly changed my life

Dr.Mendonca, she is very kind and provide the best care she can. She advice on what she thinks will be suited for my lifestyle and what can be help my skin. She is very knowledgeable and always polite. I feel comfortable being myself with her without hiding my insecurities. The staff at the clinic are quick and provide warm welcome. I do not have to wait such as long to see the Dr and always checked in quickly. One thing I would say that sometimes I feel that appointments are rushed but whenever I make a call to the office if I need answers to something they always call back fast.

Dr. Mendonca was awesome! I began seeing her in December and saw huge differences in my skin in the 8 months I saw her. Being a skin disease specialist she helped me find the best way to treat my acne. We used Epuris and she decided the dose based on calculations to make my acne “go to sleep”. The med has a side effect of depression and being someone who deals with anxiety it was a concern to me. Dr. Mendonca was very kind, supportive, and accommodating curating treatment to how I was managing the symptoms. This allowed me to continue my treatment and end up with beautiful skin. A huge thank you goes out to her and all she has done!!

Dr. Mendonca is an amazing dermatologist. She helped me completely get rid of my moderate/severe acne in just a few months without accutane. Instead she prescribed me a newer drug, Epuris. Although a newer drug, Dr. Mendoza has done her research on it’s safety and effectiveness. Before starting Epuris, I had breakouts all over my face and they were uncontrollable and painful. Now, my face is completely clear and my skin is no longer in pain. Dr. Mendoza met with me every month to make sure that the drug was working ok and to help fix any mild side effects that I had. I am so thankful that Dr. Mendoza listened to my concerns and that I trusted her with this treatment. She does what she does to make a difference in peoples lives and she surely changed mine in a good way. I would 100% recommend Dr. Mendoza & this treatment for anyone who struggles with acne.

I've been seeing Dr Mendonca for years and she is by far the best doctor I've ever had. She is very educated and has a very pleasant caring personality. She never tries to rush me out the door and fully explains what she is doing and why. She has a way of making even painful procedures pass by quickly and with as little pain as possible. She is always on time and I never feel any anxiety about visiting her. She truly cares about my health and as a patient that is very important. It is a pleasure calling her my Dr and I hope I get to for a long time.
