Been seeing Jake for 23 years. He is amazing, kind, listens, and has the tools to assist. I would not be alive today without his help.

I have been seeing this doctor for over a year, at times weekly, for fairly intensive therapy. I have seen three other psychologists for therapy in years past and none of them come close to the involvement and knowledge of Dr. Tremblay. He is friendly, honest, and professional beyond comparison. I cannot recommend him enough. My life has changed drastically for the better almost entirely due to his guidance and support.

During a 1 on 1 session after an exam he was disengaged, cut me off 3 times saying "Get to the point" when it was a scenario based question needing full details of the before, during and after actions of an experience. I have done these before for work and never had an issue or experience like this. After the exam he would say there were no issues or concerns or anything to discuss further, yet reported later he did. He would not do a debrief of the results. Instead he passes it off to another psychologist who has never met me. Nor will he provide any copies of documents signed at the beginning of the evaluation so I can see what I am entitled to such as the clinical notes ect. After having to contact the Alberta College of Psychology as this seemed really odd and un professional would he coincidently email me shortly after as if it was the first time I reached out for a debrief. Only to set it up with a second psychologist who attended the meet. This secondary person did most of the talking as Dr. Tremblay smugly smirked and nodded his head during parts of the session. All I asked for was if he could explain his results from the exam. It was a simple question and handled so unprofessionally by him and through the company he was working for. Staff was rude, he was not helpful, and skirted around his results. It felt like I was dealing with a boss and his henchmen. They still have not provided me with any copies of documents I signed going into the exam.

A kind and extremely effective counsellor. I highly recommend him.

Seems "DR" Tremblay cannot diagnose or treat those close to him. Credentials are questionable.

I have the utmost respect for Dr. Tremblay. He really seems to get anxiety, at least to the extent that I deal with it! The only unfortunate part is I moved to a new city so had to discontinue with him. He is realistic, not telling you what you want to hear but listens. He truly has a passion for what he does. If you Edmonton and suffer from anxiety, I highly recommend him.
