Superb outcome from a surgery to restore a crushed vertebrae resulting from a traumatic accident. I have grown to have enormous confidence in Dr. Aleem's capabilities, and trust his judgement. My hats off to him and his team.

Dr. Aleem did a great job with my discectomy. Right away I regained the lost strength in my leg. Pain is getting better each day since surgery. ~90% of my pain is gone at this point (~2 months out). Nice man who seems to care about his patients.

Dr. Aleem and his staff allow you to participate in determining the route you want to take for pain relief. I started with therapy and injections, both conservative treatments. After a bout of severe sciatic pain, I opted for surgery. He explained the surgery, showed me my MRI and also covered what to expect during recovery. Surgery was done and I am doing extremely well. Absolutely and highly recommend Dr. Aleem.

After ins. required physical therapy with no improvement, primary care doctor referred me to Uof M for evaluation for my leg and foot pain. I met with Dr. Aleem for preliminary discussion and was recommended to have x-rays and MRI for better diagnosis. On return visit, we reviewed the images and the doctor showed me the source of my discomfort. ( swollen disc pinching nerve against spine lower back ). He explained the options and I chose surgery which he agreed with. Surgery was scheduled and performed in a short time period of time, impressive for a busy institution. The results I could not be happier with. No more discomfort and almost back to normal which will take time. Back to work full time ( I'm an auto technician for one of the Detroit three ). The staff and Dr. Aleem are all outstanding and I would recommend them to anybody. I previously had surgery for a different issue and the UofM team was equally as impressive.
