I had an amazing experience with Dr. Lutz! I was referred from out of province because the surgery I needed is uncommon. I waited 3 years but that was not Dr. Lutz’s fault. He was amazing at the initial consult, answering all of my questions. When it came time for surgery he personally phoned me the night before to ask if I had any questions. He also phoned my spouse as soon as he finished the surgery to give an update. Such a kind man and talented surgeon.

I made a joke about him being kind and attractive and one of the nurses got very defensive about him being married with kids (so am I) but it seems like all the staff like him and respect him as well. Highly recommend.

He was a second-opinion doctor who recommended a second surgery, which with all the pain and suffering of a revision surgery didn't go well and in the end, he said he was not the most responsible physician there and he is sorry for it!

He is a great doctor, I had my 2nd knee surgery with him and I am completely satisfied. grest bed side matter, If you have to hzve knee surgery this is the doctor to put your trust in.

Ian was my dr on 2 occasions for 2 THR. Both times he made me feel comfortable and understood. He is 150% about patient care. He always makes time for his patient and I cannot say enough that if you want to trust a dr; he’s the guy! Totally worth waiting for! Just a genuine all around excellent human being. I will definitely go back to him if I need any other orthopaedic help! And Angela was terrific also, like someone said I’m sure she puts up with a lot of grumpy patients. Dr. Ian Lutz is an amazing surgeon. He has amazing skills as a surgeon and he explains things in a language you as a patient understands. He has a sense of humor and he doesn't rush you when you have questions. He has done both my hips and I highly recommend him. Amazing doctor.
