I had such a great experience with my knee replacement. The wait was very long but I heard such great things about Dr. Lutz I was willing to wait and I am eternally grateful for Dr. Lutz, the city hospital staff, and everyone else involved. Angela was very helpful and kind answering the many, many questions I had. I would recommend Dr. Lutz to everyone!

I had my rt hip replaced by Dr Lutz June/21 and had great results and was back to work 8weeks post operation. I had my left hip replaced 6 days ago and at day 4 was able to weight bear and walk with zero aids and minimal pain. My visits with Dr Lutz have always felt right. He always has ample time for you and any question you have is always answered in detail. He is an unbelievable surgeon and just as good a person. And to top it off his office staff(Angela) does a great job dealing with us impatient and sometimes grumpy pre surgery patients. Both of you thanks for all you do for us.

Dr Lutz is an amazing doctor and physician, he has done my TKR , 1 week ago. And will be doing my other one in a couple months. He is very kind, knowledgeable, professional and I trust him completely. He came to see me in the hospital just about every day, even the weekend, I highly recommend him for your knee replacements.

Dr. Lutz has been extremely empathic and showed so much understanding while I waited for my total knee replacement surgery. I waited an extended period of time to get my TKR due to covid. Dr. Lutz gave me suggestions as to how I could manage my pain until my surgery. His videos explaining exercises were invaluable as he prepares his patients pre and post surgery. He explained everything that would happen before my surgery and came to see me after my surgery. I feel confident and grateful as he follows up on my surgery, and if I have issues with my other knee or hips, I know Dr. Lutz will be there for me again. Thank you, Dr. Lutz and your office team.

I wish I could give 10 stars!! Dr. Lutz is the most genuine, down to earth, caring Doctor I’ve ever known in in over 40 years of nursing. He spends time explaining everything & never rushes you if you have questions. His secretary Angela is very efficient, knowledgeable, & professional. I had a hip replacement done by Dr. Lutz & recovered quickly & had no problems post op. I followed his instructions & those of the physiotherapist. 9 weeks later I tripped & felled on my new hip & fractured my leg. Dr.Lutz & Dr. Mastel were on the job again putting me back together & redoing the replacement. In hospital for 2 weeks, Dr. Lutz visited almost everyday . He has the most engaging bedside manner & is up to date with new research & surgical technique. Highly recommended!

Dr lutz and his team are amazing at making sure all of your questions are answered. He made sure to phone my fiancé right after the surgery, visited after the surgery and the next day. I didn’t feel rushed at all any time he was checking up on me or during any appointments. Thank you! See you for the next hip!
