The comment left on October 14, 2017 is criminal slander. Suggesting that this Doctor is a predator is mean, vindictive and so low. I have known this doctor for 20 years and he is a good and decent man. If you are a sleazy low-life then you shouldn't be leaving a comment. It is clear you need psychiatric assistance, and possible admittance to CAMH. Please continue to seek out support for your intense and persistent emotional problems.

Dr. Bogomolny is simply an exception doctor and human being. I have been seeing him since 2002. He really cares about me. I have had ongoing issues with depression and anxiety. This year, when my work related stress became too much we arranged a treatment plan and he wrote me a medical note for 7 months off work while I recovered. He is full of empathy and care for me. The treatment plan was superb and I now feel confident returning to work. He recommended the best CBT psychologist in Toronto and the results have been outstanding. This is a doctor who saved my life. I have no idea who this person is calling him arrogant. He is so down to earth and pragmatic and helpful. Thank you!

He told me I didn't smile at him in the waiting nook when he approached me. I had been reading a magazine article when he came to get me. He said if I have any interpersonal problems this could be part of why - if I don't smile at people. If he had told me on the phone I was expected to smile when I saw him I would never have made an appointment. It's psychiatry, not a modeling agency. I wonder if he does this to men too or if it's just women. My current psychiatrist doesn't mind if I cry and so often I smile or laugh. Just not on command.

An amazing person and psychiatrist whom I am blessed to have been a patient of for many years. Has always treated me with the utmost respect, is a great listener and helps find appropriate do-able solutions. Like another reviewer, I experienced trauma throughout my life and have found Dr. Bogolmony to be extremely sensitive, understanding and insightful. He has a great sense of humour and uses it well and appropriately. This Dr. is a real person who cares about others and gives back. He is not just in it for the money. I have lots of time and respect for this man.

Dr Bogomoly is a caring person and doctor. He has been supportive of me at all times and is a great listener and willing to discuss different ways of approaching problems. I highly recommend him but don't think he is accepting new patients anymore. I've been very fortunate to be his patient for many years.

Arrogant. Old school. Insensitive. Paternalistic. Defensive. Criticized and left feeling worse than when I arrived each time and altogether. I would rather not be treated like a child. In my opinion, does not have the versatility to serve a fully diverse client base and treat flexibly based on presenting issues. Couldn't see the forest for the trees. The living breathing human being in front of you should matter more than gathering excessive information. Retraumatizing people by forcing them to spend hours and hours recounting only details of their past when they don't even know you means at least a month without any actual therapy. If you declare at session four or five when a patient (yet again) wants to spend some time on their current life "I don't know anything about your current life," that's concerning. Wow. Not a match for clients with trauma (in my opinion), which requires a lot of staying in the present. More harm than help on that one and I'm glad I got out fast, after which I felt better. From now on, I personally will stick to appropriate validation and being listened to, and therapy over old school psychiatry (this was not psychotherapy as sold). A world of difference when contrasted with the appropriate resources. On a positive note a lot of progress has been made and new research in diversity, trauma, mental health, neuroscience, etc.
