Dr Darcy is a wonderful, knowledgeable, caring surgeon who is amazing at his work. I’ve had several surgeries with him and I never have felt any pain or discomfort. I would highly recommend him.

So far they have canceled my son's appointment 4 times within hours of the time he was to be seen. Loosing 3 days pay cause I had to take him and to have it canceled is ridiculous. Look for other options.

Dr. MacLellan is one of the best doctors I have seen. He is compassionate, careful, and makes you feel at ease. I trust him whole heartedly.

Had all my top teeth removed and a permanent full plate done last week and was very impressed with the whole ordeal. Dr. Maclellan and my Dentist Dr. Rob Hennessey were both excellent along with the rest of the staff. I cant say I didn't suffer because I did but not as bad as I thought. All in All I'm glad I got it done and would recommend them both as my new teeth look and feel great

Over the years I have spent a lot of time in dental offices and I have had treatment from many dentists. I would have to say that some were a lot better than others. With respect to Darcy MacLellan I found every aspect of his business, that was important to me, to be first class. I initially saw him when I needed to have an tooth extracted and my regular dentist was not available. He was able to see me the same day that I contacted him. The extraction went smoothly and while I was there I discussed the possibility of having implants placed in my mouth. He was patient, informative and he put no pressure on me to have the work done. Last fall he extracted a tooth and he placed three implants in my mouth. The implant that was put into the void that was created when the tooth was extracted failed ( even though I had five months of healing around it). He explained that while it t is rare that a failure occurs, it can happen. A new implant was installed at no cost to me, and after healing , my regular dentist installed a four piece bridge over the three implants. One day, this past spring I had six more teeth removed and I had another eight implants installed. When I woke up, I went to my regular dentist and he installed a temporary upper bridge that had been fabricated after the technician had done measurements while I was still sedated at Dr MacLellan's office. Darcy was there and the temporary bridge fit like a glove. I now have only two weeks left before the permanent bridge is installed. Everything seems fine.
Initially I found the receptionist to be matter of fact and very efficient. I would like to say that she would be exactly the kind of person I would want to have if I were running that business. As I got to know her, I found a warmth to her personality and she was interesting, engaging , and very supportive to me in respect to the decisions that I was considering. I found all of the other staff to be friendly and engaging. It helps when you have known or worked for people that are known or related to them .
Dr MacLellan was never in a rush with me. He was patient, and he took all the time that I needed to have my questions answered. He was always polite and upbeat.
I was impressed enough that I brought all of the staff (including Darcy) a bottle of wine.

Dr. MacLellan is fantastic! He is knowledgeable and pleasant. His oral surgeon assisants are lovely. I usually feel panicked when going to the dentist, but when I visit his office I am at complete ease. I found the receptionist to be a bit rude/ rushed. Would 100% recommend.

Until my experience with Darcy MacLellan’s office, I have been fortunate not to have had any very poor experiences with doctors/dentists. However, my experience with Darcy was awful and I wouldn’t want others to perhaps have a similar experience, so I can not recommend that others go here to have their wisdom teeth extracted. In both of my appointments where I saw Darcy (the initial consult, and when I had to come back to be treated for a post-op infection), he seemed extremely rushed and was very uninformative. For my actual surgery, I didn’t see him before I was sedated - it was the nurses who sedated me and they were friendly and kind. I was in a lot of pain when I came back to Darcy with my post-op infection and would have expected he would advise as to what may have caused the infection, if there’s anything I should do to help care for the infection (other than taking the antibiotics prescribed) or very importantly what to do about pain management until the infection cleared. However, he was extremely rushed, did not touch on any of that information or invite questions, and in total he spent at most a couple of minutes with me (which was about the same length as the initial consultation). The day after my post-op appointment, I had to request a prescription (which I was given) from the office because the pain was so bad and he had neglected to discuss that or prescribe anything for the pain the prior day. The infection didn’t fully clear up and it spread, and since Darcy wasn’t in, I had to go to my dentist to be prescribed more antibiotics. In all, with Darcy, I felt like just a dollar sign to be dealt with and quickly rushed out so he could go on to the next ones in the waiting room. I didn’t feel cared for at all.
