As someone who’s extremely nervous of going to the dentist, Dr. Shaffner made me feel comfortable, his staff were all beyond kind and comforting. This man is the only oral surgeon I will go to now. Thank you to you and your staff for taking the fear out of having to have a tooth extracted. We even ended up pulling the two while I was there, that’s how comfortable I was.

I was extremely pleased with the excellent care and compassion of Dr Shaffner when I had dental implant surgery in October, 2022. We are very fortunate to have Dr Shaffner practising in our province. He is very competent and cares about the well being of his patients. I was also impressed with this staff who are also very caring and compassionate.

Made my surgery visit very comfortable. Staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. Surgery went extremely well and quick too. Very good job and minimal need for post surgery care really.

Had implant in 2015 and now it’s failing needs to come out. I expected there to be no charge after all the assurances I got when put in. Found out today I will be paying to get it removed along with a bone graft. So here I am $4000 later and in a worst scenario than before I got it. Not the way I’d do business

The first thing Dr. Shaffner told me was to call him “Matt”! He removed my wisdom teeth, and as someone who has severe anxiety associated with surgery and anesthesia, the whole experience was the best it could have been. I had absolutely no complications or pain post-op. Both his dental assistant and nurse were fantastic, as well - the entire team was incredibly informative and patient. Would not go to any other doctor after my experience with Dr. Shaffner. 10/10.
