If I could give this “dr” a zero i would. She is rude unprofessional breaches confidential information she quit her practice and is now cherry picking her patients and she is working privately with the patients she chooses. She is discriminating against her patients and she abandoned quite a few hundred. People are desperate here for psychiatrist and this is what we get?? She is so unprofessional this is the best part . She’s evaded my calls since leaving bluewater health about my file. She did not answer for 1.5 years. So the other day I informed her I would be contacting the college to report her which I did and they probably won’t do anything. This person should have her liscence revoked because she had a person from CMHA call me and accuse me of her calling me and leaving messages. Then it gets better. I found out that my file was at the hospital after all that’s. My file is from my previous competent Psychiatrist I had for 15 years and I have no doctor and I hacve the right to my records. She then, even after she broke privacy and confidentiality as I’m not even a client of CMHA . She is a coward and actually called the POLICE ON ME AND TOLD THEM I WAS HARASSING HER. She is a dirty LIAR!! Imagine what else she lies about. My mom had to back me up which shows you how discriminating this community is and HER. She should not be working with vulnerable people. I tried to. Report her to CMHA and got Tim who had no reaction, has been horrible rude to me. I don’t know why they put me though to him

THIS IS CRAZY ANd I’m 43 and I have to have my mom to back me up?? She’s 75 and what happens when she dies. This “special “ dr should have her licence removed and she should be charged. This is totally ridiculous and this is a psychopath not a psychiatrist lol. What a joke. I saw her two times she is an idiot. I reported her to the college of physicians and surgeons and the patient ombudsman as the college literally lets them get away with murder and these incompetent rejects that got their education from a. Cracker Jack box. She is a liar and I’m sure she lied in my chart and she will lie to the college as per usual and these narcissistic liars get away with anything because of our horrible healthcare.?? This is BS!! I received a letter in the mail saying she was no longer practicing, a six month prescription for my meds and that was it. I found out through a co-worker that Cheryl is still practicing as she goes to her. I was tossed out like yesterday's garbage

Not surprised Dr. Willsie has left BWH. MHOP cannot get their act together and often it is the patient and community who suffer.

I have been seeing Dr Willsie since I turned 18 in 2018, up until last spring (2022). Overall, she was good and was very good with me helping me find medications and dispensing increments that worked for me and my illnesses. However, she kept me on benzos for 3 years daily which was not a good move to make as a knowledgeable doctor. I also worked at a public agency in the community where I oversaw medications of clients and I noticed a lot of them had her as a doctor and she was pushing benzos on ALL of them as well. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Also her punctuality was HORRIBLE. and I am aware that it takes one person to be late to mess up the whole day, but when I show up 10 minutes before my appointment time and am kept waiting for at LEAST 30 minutes past it (almost an hour for my last few appointments) every single time - that’s just unacceptable. I’ve also had issues with reception leaving voicemails with my PRIVATE HEALTH INFORMATION on the phones of my family who did not need to know that info? Which caused me to miss appointments twice, instead of calling me. They said they didn’t have my updated phone number but when I updated my phone I called multiple times to let them know my new number. Then they never told me in person appointments resumed so I was waiting for a phone call appointment October 2021 ALL DAY and called multiple times leaving them voicemails asking what the issue was with no phone call returned. I finally got through the next day, they said it was my fault and I could see her in person in 6 weeks, I said that was unacceptable and to talk to dr willsie and get back to me. Dr Willsie was actually very helpful at that time and was able to squeeze me in at the end of the day that same week. I feel like the cancellation issues everyone is having is a result of BAD RECEPTION STAFF rather than Willsie herself. It was only when I stuck up for myself and demanded resolution, called the patient complaint people, and talked to dr Willsie that those issues got resolved for me. But not everyone has the same willingness to do that and advocate for themselves.

All in all, she was okay. I didn’t mind her. I connected with her well actually. But I’ve always been good with advocating for myself, letting her know what is and isn’t working, and working with her to find solutions for me. She can’t do it for me, but was great at doing it with me. I think the office/reception staff were super horrible and that was the root of most of my issues with her. However, I was supposed to have an appointment April 2022, I missed it (my fault) and when I called to rebook in 6 weeks I was told she would no longer be working there??? How can she just leave without informing her patients?? I have an appointment with my family doctor today but he hasn’t been my doctor for very long and I have to go in and ask for controlled substances because my refills from Willsie are just now running out and what if he says no? What if he doesn’t believe she just left and I’m no longer under her care? I’ll be screwed. I’m pretty sure it’s illegal for a doctor to leave a practice without notifying their patients and offering to send their case file to their new doctor for free. But, with her horrible reception staff, who knows if it was her fault or theirs?! Where is she now?

Don't waste your precious time on this arrogant Dr., She does not hesitate to cancel or refuse to see you without appropriate reason. She calls the shots and has created animosity within the "team".

Made an appointment in November 2021 to see her end of March 2022. Show up early to my appointment to find out she was sick that day (No call to notify me that my appointment was cancelled). Receptionists checked they had the correct phone number and told me that they would call me to reschedule. 3 weeks later, still no call. I called to make an appointment and found out i couldn’t get in until July. Show up to my July appointment to be told Dr Willsie was no longer practicing.( No call again to notify me of this change) Was curious to see if she was practicing again to see new ratings. I’m left confused and with a horrible experience overall!

She came into the room and stood there with arms crossed like I was an inconvenience to her. She had a rude facial expression and an off putting demeanor. She didn't ask any questions, didn't help with any solutions. Was a waste of my time. She seems to care only about taking vacations rather then her job. As multiple appointments have canceled by her due to her vacations.
