I had been with DR. H since I was around 12, since the first time I met him he was very friendly, he was able to answer all of my family questions (there was a lot), I do not have the words to extend my appreciation for him. At BC Children's Hospital, he made me feel safe and was very patent when I did not trust him at first. I got to know him very well, and looked forward to every visit with him, my mom and I made fun of him because he wore the same green pants multiple visits in a row! It became an ongoing joke and after we pointed it out he made sure to wear them every visit after that! Through the years I believe he has met ever one of my family members, it seemed like I brought someone new with me every time, even may now partner. Even though I am older now and have graduated from children's hospital I know if I ever needed anything he is just an email or phone call away. He is my favourite Dr I have met and will miss seeing him every year, he will differently be invited to my wedding!

Dr Hursh, from the moment my family met him, has always been caring, patient, and understanding. He is great with my daughter, makes her feel comfortable and takes time to talk with her, laugh. His staff are equally friendly and helpful, They go above and beyond in regards to her care and well being. He includes my other daughter in conversations and takes time to talk with us and them. We feel safe and cared for. He helps us manage our stress and very knowledgeable. I can't say enough about him and his department. My daughters diagnosis was new to my family but we never have to worry with him and his staff in our corner. I recommend everyone to see him, to speak with him, to listen. He cares and it shows every visit. If every doctor was like him, we wouldnt need to worry because our health was in the right hands.

We were lost before we finally found ourselves in care of Dr Hursh. I am eternally grateful and cannot offer greater praise, respect and satisfaction with the efforts he made on behalf of my son from diagnosis to transition. His calm and caring attitude combined with his knowledge and experience have proven invaluable to our family. Wish there were more like him

Always thoughtful and willing to listen which was very important as our daughter is non-verbal. He helped us navigate these past few years by giving us a great understanding of this one piece of the medical puzzle that is our kid.

Dr. Hursh is a wonderful endocrinologist and I'm very happy he agreed to be on my son's team at BC Children's. We find that he's very open-minded and supportive of the way we manage our son's type 1 diabetes. He is kind, professional, and kid-friendly. We feel supported and encouraged under his care. He is very patient and always takes the time to listen to questions, provide thoughtful answers and suggestions, and think together about what options we have moving forward. He follows-up after lab results (if needed) and after bureaucratical issues relating to my son's care in other related contexts (e.g., school care plan). He is also very responsive via email. I strongly recommend Dr. Hursh as an endocrinologist.

Dr. Brenden Hursh is a great endocrinologist.
At every appointment he is punctual, professional and very attentive to my sons needs.

Dr. Brenden Hursh is an amazing Endocrinologist, along with his team members at the Endocrinology clinic. He is attentive, courteous and a professional doctor. Dr Hursh's care has been exemplary. He is kind, considerate and professional while able to develop and maintain an engaged working relationship with both the children he is treating and their family members/support system. We have had the very best care from him as well as the other team members at the Endocrinology clinic. Our family has been so fortunate to have Dr Hursh involved in our son's care over the last few years. During our first appointment with him he was incredibly patient and kind to our son who was having a lot of anxiety. He gave him all the information he needed to make an informed decision as well as the time he needed to process it all and make his own choices.
