My husband was see no by Dr Ng, who was able to talk with both myself and my husband. My husband was a Vietnam veteran with many mental health issues as well as recently diagnosed physical ones. Dr Ng,spent a lot of time listening, discussing and informing us about how my husbands mental health was faring. My husband was impressed with the care and attention he received and I felt both he and I were supported throughout. I feel confident in being able to refer my friends to Dr Ng for excellent care and support.

My experience with Dr Ng has been nothing but brilliant. He cared for my elderly father who was diagnosed with Alzheimers and Parkinsins. He was empathetic, listened and heard what my Dad and my mother's concerns and fears were. He understood how my father was feeling and talked to him about what was happening to him. He talked TO my mother and explained to her also. He came to see my Dad in the hospital when he became so unwell he needed extra care. I have nothing but praise for Dr Ng during this time that was both very difficult for both my parents, myself and my siblings. My father died as a result of his illness, but he was able to be at home with his wife, ongoing visits to Dr Ng in the clinic and even to their home. I feel confident in referring Dr Ng to those who need a good psychiatrist on the coast. He is approachable, understanding, empathetic and nothing is too much trouble for him to have a chat on the phone in times of need - this I did when my father needed a good psychiatrist and am happy to say, that my father liked and trusted Dr Ng.

I cannot believe this man works with elderly patients. He is cold, without empathy, judgemental and downright awful. He had me in tears. He should be deregistered. He is the most awful man I have ever met

This guy is just awful. He is clearly not working as a Dr but has simply made up a theory about you and asks only certain questions that will fit his theory and then writes a ridiculous report that probably refutes your diagnosis. He doesn't apply any proper diagnostic criteria like the DSM just makes strings up to fit his hypothesis for the insurer. An absolute nightmare!

After seeing a Dr jetnikoff (who was the worst psychiatrist I have ever met and I am seeing 3 different ones due to the complex it of my issues) Dr ng has been the only one to listen and actually focus on my symptoms giving me advice that is actually getting me somewhere and possible treatment in place... my disorder is very rare (Derelisation episodes intermittently) after seeing sleep specialist, neurologist, general physician, psychiatrist who specializes in dissociation and another psychiatrist who specializes in sleep. Dr NG referred me to a psychiatrist who has been more helpful then anyone I have seen. He was impartial and supportive. I was really surprised of my experience with him after my first work assessment with jetnikoff. I was expecting much the same, but like everyone else he was the only one that didn't put me in the too hard basket, listened to everything including my history and made an informed decision based on all the facts. It's been nearly 12 months off work and am no better off then when I started to get these episodes. But he has changed that and am now starting to see a light and hope ....
