I had an ablation procedure done. Dr. Makajee was wonderful. He explained everything to me and answered all my questions patiently. I thank him from the bottom of my heart that he has made my life feel normal again.

I had a catheter ablation earlier in the year . Dr Makanjee was wonderful and the procedure went very well.
Dr Makanjee has a wonderful sense of humour and I am completely satisfied.

Dr. Makanjee and his staff were excellent during my procedure. He performed a catheter ablation 2 years ago and this has resolve my atrial fibrillations. My experience with Dr Mak has been extremely good. He is friendly, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. He is a straight talker but very compassionate. I highly recommend him to anybody who needs catheter ablation. I am grateful to him for giving me back my confidence. We need more doctors/specialist like him

I totally agree with the last reviewer. His arrogance and rudeness indicates stark lack of respect or empathy for patients. He refused to allow me to explain or describe my concerns and refused to answer my questions, told me to commence blood pressure meds and consult me family physician for adjustment of dosage. "This appointment is over!"I will never consult him again and feel sorry for those patients relying on him for care. He should be reported and disciplined by the medical regulator.

This Dr is knowlegable but has abosolutely no people skills and is so arrrogant. He does not respect his patients as people they are merely a source of income for him. He is actually vindictive towards patients who disagree with him.

When I developed atrial fibrillations, I had difficulty shoveling snow, walking uphill or mowing the lawn. Medications initially helped but could not solve the problem. Needless to say this was a great concern to me. I was referred to Dr. Mackanjee. Meeting him in his office and listening to him explaining the procedure he was going to perform, I was reassured that I had come to the right place. He performed catheter ablation, after which I felt euphoric, since my symptoms had disappeared. Unfortunately the symptoms recurred two moths later. Dr. Mackanjee told me that this could happen and a more sophisticated procedure needed to be done. The second ablation took place in November 2019 and after an initial period of healing, I now feel great. At the end of January there are no longer any signs of flutter. I am 83 years old and can now walk up hill again, shovel snow again, and look forward cutting the lawn this summer. My experience with Dr. Mackanjee could not have been more positive. He strikes me as a very intelligent, friendly and capable Doctor. I highly recommend him to anybody who needs catheter ablation. I am grateful to him for giving me back the quality of life I had not know for some years.

Superior skills, cutting edge thinking and a dedication to saving lives, Dr. Bhavanesh Makanjee is truly a gifted human being and Cardiologist .
I wasn't far away from my AFIB becoming irreversible when I met Dr. Makanjee. A short time later, I was in the Operating Room undergoing a Catheter Ablation.
It's been over two years and my heart has remained in sinus rhythm.
Words cannot express my gratitude.

Exhibited his INABILITY TO ORGANIZE THEATRE BOOKINGS. Not organized. Bad management skills to coordinate theatre BOOKINGS his staff may be the cause if NOT him. When a prefixed DATE of a surgery is taken away for another prioratized important surgery then the cancelled surgery should be at the SAME TIME on the spot allocated another fixed date for SURGERY. But he does NOT do so ignoring that provision thus that cancelled surgery is ONCE AGAIN WAITLISTED STARVING FOR A DATE VERY BADLY.

I had AFib for the past 5 years and my Cardiologist refered me to Dr Makajee who did the Ablation one year ago and I haven't had an attack since. He very carrying and explains everything about the procedure. Also the operating room staff were great. Thanks for the great job. It certainly has greatly improved my quality of life

I lived with AFib for twenty years. The irregular rhythms eventually became an impediment to my life style. I was referred to Dr. Makanjee who performed an ablation. It was one of the best decision I could have made. Normal rhythm for over a year now and I have quality of life back. Should have done it sooner.
