One of the best. He is the most caring doctor I have ever met. I’m so glad to have him as my pulmonary doctor. I only see him once a year for follow-ups but I always leave his office knowing I can count on him to give me the best care I need. I can’t say enough good about Dr Dechant but I am so glad he is my Dr.

Dr Dechant is hands down the best Dr I have ever seen. He listens, and truly cares. I have never once questioned his competency or felt like I was in bad hands. I have complete confidence in his abilities. A dr with a big heart - a complete rarity these days it seems. I feel so fortunate to have been referred to him. I wish he was a family doctor just so that I could keep receiving that level of patient care. He is extremely thorough and took every step necessary to find out exactly what was causing my symptoms. He never once made me feel like I was an inconvenience to him in the many visits I had. What more could you ask for. I wish more dr’s were like this. The WORST Respirologist and staff in Calgary. They discriminate against people with Disabilties, staff is rude over phone, will hang up on you, won’t accommodate you if you have chemical sensitivities. I will be contacting the medical association to file a report against the clinic and the doctor. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Near a long wait in the office which is a treat when seeing a specialist. And he always takes the time to answer all of the questions that you have asked and he'll make sure to give you some extra information too! He's very thorough and makes sure you are well informed and comfortable with your treatment before you leave.

I am very pleased with how Dr. Dechant explained to me my condition (rare kind of severe asthma). Just his explanation made me feel that I am healed. Very thorough and knowledgeable. He spent time to answer all my questions. Admin staff was also very helpful. This is my first time to post a review as I want people to know how fantastic he is!
