Having seen a number of psychiatrists, I can say with confidence that Dr. Gallogly is the best in the field. He is extremely knowledgeable and is able to give you a clear plan moving forward. With his extensive experience he was able to answer all my questions and pinpoint the treatment I needed. I cannot thank Dr Gallogly enough for everything he has done, he has completely changed my life for the better.

This is the third time I have written this post only to have it removed without any response, which is extremely disappointing.

I am a pensioner living in a rural area and my doctor recommended this psychiatrist for my mental health issues, specifically as he does Skype and has an excellent reputation.

When making my appointment, I asked about the price of the consults, and was quoted between $400 and $500. When I said that I was a pensioner and would struggle to afford that, she said she would speak with the dr and get back to me. I have waited a few months and not heard anything back, so I am now on a waiting list to see someone else.

Hopefully this view will not be removed again and I will be given the kindness and respect of being able to air my honest and genuine review, which is what this site is designed for...

I'm fed up that my appointments have been cancelled on 3 occasions in the last 2 months. He seems to be constantly on leave. I'm going to see someone else.

I found Dr Gallogly to be an excellent practitioner, highly knowledgeable in his field and both patient and extrmely kind. I credit him with very sharp observations of my issues in the relatively limited time we spent together , I would highly recommend Dr Gallogly without any reservation.

I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Alan Gallogly over the course of several years. What quickly struck me was his wonderful, warm, welcoming and courteous manner. I have had contact in a professional capacity with many of his patients over this entire time, and he is very highly regarded by all, as his patients feel he really takes the time needed to listen and help meet their needs. He is very readily approachable, highly professional, kind and caring.

The key things that set him apart from other Health practitioners include his very high standards of care, his speedy and uncanny ability to diagnose with great accuracy, his ethics in putting the patient first and income second, and the fact that he has a laser-like focus on patient outcomes and solutions. He has been the difference in many of his patients’ lives.

In an Australian context, arguably the most impressive aspect of his approach is his adoptive and adaptive attitude to integrated Allied Health, which brings together professionals of wide-ranging, yet complementary international experience to significantly improve and optimise patient outcomes – put simply, to get well.

Having seen Dr Gallogly several times now, I find it time to comment. I am absolutely shocked by the slanderous comments being made. I find it extremely poor form that someone who hasn't seen him is allowed to leave such blatantly false and incorrect comments. I have been a patient of Dr Gallogly's all year, and have found him to be extremely diligent, caring, courteous, witty and really does go out of his way to make you feel comfortable. Without getting too personal, I have been diagnosed with a lifelong illness, which has such a big impact on a person. It has changed my world and my livelihood. Dr Gallogly has given me hope, strategies and is just what I needed and still believe that a top-up of the good Doctor's treatment is what I will need to ensure that I constantly improve. Thank you, Dr Gallogly, and Kelly at the front desk - you are both angels, and have changed my life and my world for the better.
