During my first visit, Dr. Day answered many questions about my general health as well as the condition that I was referred to her for. I appreciated every aspect of her professional manner and felt very comfortable sharing information with her during my visit.

Wow, what a stuck-up and entitled person! Useless (unless you just want any old diagnosis).

1) I tried to discuss my issues and explain my concerns; she cut me off, asked me if I was mad, and tried to change the conversation to how I was late to the appointment. Childish.

2) She proceeds to tell me that I shouldn't have an issue reaching at a certain angle with my injury, even though I am the one with an injured joint and am the one experiencing pain. I live in my body, not you. Are you serious?

2) I came in with a singular wrist injury; she gives me meds for dry-eyes, dry mouth.. symptoms I literally have never complained about... Do you have a quota for prescriptions or you lose your stipend from Pharma or something? For real.

3) Told me she would get me an MRI; months later, claims I "lied" about that.

4) Got upset when I said I had gone to get a 2nd medical opinion (which completely disagreed with her opinion)

Heather, if you read this: I was never once rude or impolite to you (the same cannot be said of you). If you can't handle a conversation like that, get out of the medical field. What a joke.

I found Dr. Day fantastic. The first time I saw her she explained in detail,that I could understand,why I was in so much discomfort,and how we were going to make it better. She developed a plan for me. She reduced and/or changed some meds I had been taking for some time. I began to feel better than I have, in many years.She has told me to reduce some meds and I'am feeling great.JT

I don't understand the negative comments I have read. This Doctor rocks, I travel from Kelowna to see her because I can not believe I could have better care, compassion and advice, anywhere else.
Be real with her and she will respond in kind.

Dr Day has been my rheumatologist for 5 years. She is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful and always has the time to listen and find a solution for problems. She prepares extremely well and always gives me a written note of her recommendations for whatever we discuss during the consultation. I would highly recommend Dr Day to anyone look8ng for a great Rheumatologist.
