When we called them they said "NO we not taking new patients"

Dr. Wittes has been my Doctor for about 20 years. He is a wonderful man and Doctor. He "listens" to my concerns, and therefore he can treat me in an appropriate manner. I recently had a health scare which the E.R. Doctors could not be bothered to diagnose and treat properly. The E.R Doctor told my wife that I was abusing my meds, when in reality I had a stroke! Upon seeing Dr. Wittes he quickly made his diagnosis and saw to it that I was admitted to Sunnybrook Hospital that day! One month later I was discharged from St Johns Rehabilitation Hospital. If it had not been for Dr. Wittes I don't know where I would be today. Fortunately I am well on my way to recovery. Thank You!😝

Dr.Wittes is one of a kind. He is absolutely above and beyond. He is a caring,honest,professional doctor that will do everything within his power to help his patients. My dad had a stroke. Not only did Dr. Wittes catch this,but also agreed to see him when the office was closed. Dr.Wittes made certain that my dad got the care he needed and deserved when no other doctor would. Dr. Wittes kept in contact about my dad check-in on his progress etc. What other doctor does that? This man is absolutely amazing. Every patient of his must count themselves lucky for having him. My family is truly grateful and thankful.

Dr. Wittes is a patient doctor, and tries not to leave any medical issue / concern unresolved / unanswered. He likes to investigate as much as he can. And... he is also does a thorough physical examination, unlike most doctors I've met so far. He takes the time with each individual patient. He's more about quality than quantity. Dr. Wittes is wonderful. He takes the time to explain things to you in a way that you can understand. He is very patient and kind. Kira is extremely helpful and will go out of her way to assist you. I am very grateful he is my doctor.

I can not say enough good things about Dr Wittes. He is a fantastic Dr who is caring, patient and dedicated to his profession and his patients, which is a rare find these days of busy overbooked and indifferent Drs. He never rushes you and takes time to listen to all your concerns. And His assistant Kira is a treasure which is unusual as most Drs receptionist are abrupt and unpleasant. She is first class and always returns calls and goes to great lengths to follow through to help gather paper work and test results and making specialist appointments. Anyone who is lucky enough to be a patient of Dr Wittes is extremely fortunate.

Dr. Robert Wittes a great doctor with a right attitude. He's caring, compassionate... yet very professional and knowledgeable. He listen to your symptoms extremely seriously. He does not let anything slide by and he will insist on proper tests and follows up diligently and makes right diagnostic decisions. He is the right doctor to trust with our lives!!!

I cannot rave enough about this man. Unfortunately he now does not take new patients....this is too bad that he cannot spread his numerous talents... HOWEVER...he informs me that he DOES take on new patients in the Travel Medicine capacity. He's the BEST!!! And Kira....she is sooo wonderful...she is kind, caring, supportive & empathetic..AND extremely efficient & organized, & quite knowledgeable herself (and of course when she doesn't know she will discuss it with the doctor)....AND...get this!!!!! She ALWAYS calls back within an hour or 2 of receiving the message. And if it's something she had to discuss with the doctor, she has done this and either she or he always called back by the end of the same day. How great is that!! Kira is a person I would like to know better personally. She is great, both professionally & personally!
