Best surgeon in Windsor! Dr. Laschuk saved my life twice - once in 1993 and again in 2017. I have Chron's Disease and have had this since 1984. In 1993 he did a bowel resectioning, removed my appendix and gallbladder, drained an abscess on my uterus and repaired my perforated bowel. That surgery lasted me almost 25 years. Second surgery was in October 2017 for another bowel re-sectioning and I specifically asked for him. Most caring, competent, knowledgeable surgeon in the city. I would highly recommend him - he is the best!

I never thought I would use this site however....after reading the comment from the individual posted on August 14th I felt compelled to write. Several of my family members had surgery done by Dr. Laschuk. Surgery for colon cancer and several other issues. Dr. Laschuk is a very very compassionate, kind, and knowledgeable surgeon. He takes time to explain all the issues in detail. The person that left the comment on August 14th is obviously very rude and has no idea how a surgical procedure is done or what complications can arise. To speak about Dr. Laschuk and Dr. Snowdon in this way is really disrespectful! Not too sure who the other doctors are that would have made the comment that you mention. Clearly this is a false statement for your own benefit. I am sure that you are mourning you mother's death and this is how you choose to do it....sad. Maybe a support group could help you. Again, I would highly recommend Dr. Laschuk for your surgeon!!

Dr. Laschuk did my moms lumpectomy surgery and did not go far enough into the margins and the tumour came back in the same spot only this time was attached to the sternum bone. I believe today that my mom would still be here if she had a surgeon that originally knew what they were doing and could have removed all the cancer. A few years down the road he missed colon cancer of my aunts. I would not recommend anything more then gallbladder or appendix surgery with this man. There are better more competent surgeons. I am surprised he is still with the surgical team. Following my moms journey she had reconstructive surgery with Dr. Snowden . The infection was horrific after this surgery and caused a lot of issues . I believe both Dr . Laschuk and Dr. Snowden treated her as a test dummy for their incompetence and she would be here today if she was in better hands. I was told by other physicians and surgeons that they believe this surgeon did not do his job right the first time and I believe this is the case. I highly highly do not recommend.

I just had surgerry 2 weeks ago .Dr.Laschuk was amazing. Came to check everyday in hospital. Best carting Dr.ever .also stuff amazing.

The best surgeon ever! Several members of my family, including my mother have had surgeries done and he was amazing. Recovery was quick, he is very kind and explains everything very well and never rushes you into a decision...so professional and kind - so grateful and lucky to have him in our life!

Had my second inguinal open hernia repair, he did a great job my first one was done 15 years prior and it was much worse experience then this one would recommend again.

He is awesome. I had literally no pain after my appendix and gallbladder. Back to work in 2 weeks. Absolutely would recommend him!
