I was diagnosed with stage 1 Breast Cancer at the age of 35. My first consultation appointment was amazing. He was caring, compassionate and provided me with ALL my surgical treatment options (lumpectomy, single and/or bilateral mastectomy as well as talking briefly about breast reconstruction) as every surgeon should but unfortunately don’t. He discussed thoroughly the risks and benefits of ALL procedures in a patient friendly way. I discussed my decision of bilateral mastectomy ( fyi-there is still a 3% (three) chance of recurrence. I like those odds of 3% better than 20%, 50%or 70%). He was in full support and respected my decision. Unfortunately, Windsor was not performing breast reconstruction surgery so my surgery was completed at Women’s College Hospital with immediate reconstruction. If I had chosen not to have reconstructive surgery, he would have, without a doubt, completed my surgery. All the women working at the breast clinic highly recommend him and some have stated that he would be their first choice hands down!

Dr. Laschuk was fantastic from the time I met him in the ER to follow-up after surgery. He is kind, he cares, and has a great sense of humour! You never feel rushed, he was very patient, and took the time to answer all of my questions. Very happy with my incision as well! If I ever have to have another surgery in Windsor, I will be asking for him.

removed my appendix Jan 28th, today's Feb 2nd i am at home doing normal stuff, feel great. great doctor, any questions the nurses have he would answer at anytime of the night over phone. no issues what so ever.

He is truly the best doctor I have ever come across. I had severe complications with my gallbladder erupting and I believe if it was not for his excellent care and skill I may mot be here to talk about it...many thanks doc to you and your pleasant staff..you go above and beyond to care for your patients..you truly are a blessing.

I was admitted for emergency gallbladder surgery in February 2017 and was told I would have Dr. Laschuk as my surgeon. The nurses from my floor told me there is no one else they'd trust and he definitely exceeded my expectations. Being my first surgery ever, I was very nervous, he came into my hospital room sat down and spent 20 minutes going over the procedure with me (drawing a diagram and calling my mom on the phone to answer any of her questions). My follow up appt was equally as good. His receptionist answered on the first ring and I was given undivided attention to go over any post-op questions. If you are lucky enough to have him as your surgeon, then know you are in good hands. Truly grateful!

Dr. Laschuk removed my gallbladder in March of 2012. What a great doctor he is! I cannot say enough good things about him. He was so great to talk with and made me feel at ease about my surgery. He's a super nice guy. I hope I don't need surgery again, but if I do, I would want Dr. Laschuk to operate on me. I know I'd be in good hands.

I cannot say enough about how happy I am with both Dr. Laschuk and his staff. He removed my inflamed gallbladder laparoscopically and within 12 hours of surgery I felt better than I had in months. Dr. Laschuk's patience, communication skills and excellent bedside manner left me with very few questions and completely prepared for the pre and post surgery process. I had no issues following surgery and 3 weeks out my surgical wounds look and feel great. Both he and his staff were extremely helpful in scheduling necessary procedures and surgery in a very quick and efficient manner.
