I loved her. Very knowledgeable and caring. Only Dr. who took the time and diagnosed my adrenaline deficiency from the use of Advair. I miss her-since Obamacare and death of my ex-husband, I'm on the Death panels blacklist. I'm gonna live forever and I've got new healthcare so I'm checking in again with the Doctor if possible!

Doctor is burn out. Office is incompetent; they turn the fax on and off so forget abut faxing in records; hand deliver or send by some return receipt entity, since they lose regular mail. The doctor is as the recent reviews put : not interested in looking at the whole patient, believing the patient or rendering any service that would help you with your problem. She is insensitive and uncaring and is not really knowledgeable about modern endocrinology issues. All of this belies her training, where she trained under one of the most caring doctors ever....Avoid and go on to the next name on your list.

The doctor is unimpressive. She has moved to a new office with an incompetent staff which makes it difficult to reach her and which loses your records. She is just collecting a check, so go to a doctor who will help you and not one who will treat you as an annuity.

Not impressed. Seems burnt out. Difficult to make appts and staff never answers the phone. Nice, but not very helpful or up to date on new meds etc. Not recommended.

I think Dr Borax, and her staff are fantastic!!! I have been seeing her for about 4 months now, and even though I have not been doing too well on the medications, she is willing to listen and try other treatments. I have been seeing one Dr. after another for 10+ years, and she is the only one who has helped. Thyroid problems stink, but I know with Dr Borax help I will get better. Thanks!

I LOVE Dr. Baraz! I've been seeing her for a while after having thyroid cancer. Contrary to the what the previous review states, she does not just treat based on numbers! Quite the opposite, really. If you are having issues she listens and is more than willing to switch you to a different medication. She is probably the least controlling Dr. I have ever met, she totally works with you to make you feel better. She will prescribe natural thyroid meds with no problem. The office calls with test results right away, no hassle. They also now have online appointment scheduling and a patient portal where you can get your results. Love this office.

OMG. Really. Unless you have something that is in a textbook - don't go see this doctor. Because if you don't fit into her "box" of things that she knows, forget it. She does not give a darn about you, only you're numbers. Very, VERY, old school. She needs to go back to school for patient treatment. She wants her money and wants you to get out so that she can get to the next patient to make more money. This is the type of doctor who has no idea of who you are or what you have been through because the ONLY way to treat anyone for ANYTHING is to look at their numbers. If you hire her, you will fire her. Don't waste your time or money.

The office staff is small, but friendly and helpful. They don't answer phones, but are prompt to return calls in 24 hours. The payment types (cash or check only) are a little archaic, but it must be easier for them to get paid for their effort. You won't wait long in the exam room for her and she'll spend as much time as you need. She was much more helpful, than my previous doctor, regarding my Hashimoto's Disease. I met with the in-house registered dietitian, who was a bit curt, but helpful nonetheless.

I have been going to Dr Baraz's office for years. They absolutely are the most accommodating office I have ever been to. Everyone is courteous and treats you like a "person" not just another patient that they have to get out quickly to get the next one in. I would give this office my highest recommendation. Very nice people who care.

I saw Dr. Baraz for thyroid issues. She refused to test for Hashimotos saying it didn't matter. I sought treatment from another Endo who was extremely helpful and I did test positive for Hashimotos. I would never seek treatment from this Dr. again nor would I recommend to anyone.
